PC gets more and more JRPGs! 3 more are announced

PC alongside PlayStation systems been getting a lot of support for JRPG games and the demand for them by PC gamers is truly great!!

NIS America have been releasing many of its playstation games on steam lately and have just recently announced that Hyperdimention Neptunia Rebirth3 and Mugen Souls will be released soon on steam.

More JRPG games coming to PC is welcome in my books. Also Lighting Returns is also coming to PC and still playing it on PS3 but will also rebuy it on PC. What can I say, I'm a sucker for Anime girls.

Lightning Returns is a gem... received a lot of hate in here, but I assume most have not tried it....

Brought the battle of attrition back to Final Fantasy, and the time/ quest leveling system really stops you from becoming too OP, causing some good challenging fights as a result.

I don't know if I'd call PC getting the Mugen Souls franchise a win for anyone, and I'm usually pretty blindly invested in these anime RPG franchises.

The rebirth series is more of a VN and less of an actual game to me, and that's what bothers me. That and the games just suck.

I'd much rather receive the entire tales catalog, hell if they started porting more and more classics to pc I'd be more supportive.

Lighting returns for some reason is one of those games that i jsut couldnt finish, it released around the time when PS4 was about to come out and when it did come out i bought one and made a complete switch to current gen without ever getting the chance to play games like Tales of Xillia 2, Mugen Souls (i actually own the game but never played it more than 2 hours lol) and lighting returns which i've played about 2 hours or so of.

now if they release it on current gen i would gladly try it out

I got to agree on muge souls, bought the game for $7 new copy last year and played little time of it and gotta say its one of those games that i couldnt get into but the series has a lot of fans who put hundreds of hours into it.

Now the Neptunia franchise is pure awesomeness and one of those games that i personally cant stop playing due to how fun it is (pretty much own all the vita games).. the new neptunia game releasing on PS4 next year i believe in Feb which also exciting

@finalstar2007: I like the Neptunia games quite a bit as well. I didn't realize that Mugen Stars had that dedicated of a fanbase though tbh. I recognize the combat is kinda cool, but it does the same thing that Neptunia does, just not as well imo.

Hyperdimension Neptunia and Mugen Souls look like shit. I have lost hope with the FFXIII series, so not gonna get near that. Tales of Zestiria looks interesting and I'm thinking about getting it.

Mugen Souls is legitimately pedophilia tier. I felt dirty playing it.

Lightning Returns is... I mean, I guess if you care enough about the trilogy, you should see it through, but yeah.

Little King's Story is also coming out on PC, which is better news than those 3.

It's more like a strategy/management game, though. Which suits the PC well.

The only one that is close to being decent is Tales of Zestiria.. God damn, I remember when JRPGs used to be these grand masterpieces and now they're just these anime weeaboo trash games.

So...JRPGs are what the kids into these days...hyping JRPGs...yup JRPGs.

If I were a PC gamer I'd rather it be an announcement Persona 5 is going to PC, or at least a port of Persona 3 or 4.

I really only see Rebirth 3 being received well. The PC platform is quite picky due to its vast library of titles, so Mugen Souls and lolFF13 will most likely fail.

The only thing JRPG-wise I really want on PC is a sequel/spiritual sequel to Recettear.

All three games look like crap. And from what the others are saying, one is a pervert game and another is a pedobear game. And no one wants the third game of a failed trilogy. So basically only one decent game is zooming to PC, and it is a game that so happens to slap be a ps4 and ps3 game. I think I'll stick to PlayStation gaming for my jrpg fix thank you very much.

Rebirth 3 was awesome... Neptunia is a serious weakness of mine.

Why does the trash keep on getting ported over? Its so infuriating that I like certain JRPGs, but they are absent. I want Tactics Ogre, Final Fantasy Tactics, Atelier, Falcolm's newer titles, Mistwalker's games, Vanillaware games, and pretty much anything from Atlus that isn't Persona.

I care nothing for those games, especially when those Japanese developers botch those titles so they will look as equivalent as their Console counter parts
