PC gets sloppy seconds of games xbox360 gets first dibs

i always see the argument that all xbox360 games got to PC

well hermits have fun waiting 1-2 years for sloppy seconds

like gears of war have fun experiencing the game a year late that i palyed when the graphcis were fresh....

also have fun playing on your tiny 15-18 inch montiors while i palyed gears on my 40 inch HDTV...

ahve fun most likely noth avign a headset as well while i was using advanced team tactics with my 360 wirleess set

I have an 8800GTX....Im set for a while.....

I may be playing with a smaller fanbase...but I at least I have user made content to fix GEOW's massive issues online....and give it far more value then what you would get with the 360 version.....

oh....and its $10 cheaper too.

Ok I will have fun playing GeoW with more content and user made maps and mods with a larger player cap. I'll also have fun playing with a more mature fanbase.

I may be playing with a smaller fanbase...but I at least I have user made content to fix GEOW's massive issues online....and give it far more value then what you would get with the 360 version.....

oh....and its $10 cheaper too.

good....cause I can switch interfaces anytime I want too.....I even get a choice....which is far better then being forced to use only one.

You can use a 360 controller.........or you can use the M/KB, which is said to work very well with GeoW........keep trying though. This is funny.

First off, You do NOT need 3D Studio Max, Maya or Photoshop to make mods for any game. What you need is an editor with a built in scripter (much like the UnrealED). The only reason you would need 3D Studio Max, maya or photoshop is to create content not found in the original game. New meshes, characters, textures, animations, ect. That is the ONLY reason. The PS3 and even 360 version can theoretically ship with a level editor that has every feature that the PC version will have and be capable of creating a level without the need of max, maya, or photoshop as the editor itself already comes with all textures and mesh presets that are being used in game already. That is not to say that user made meshes and textures can't be put on to a flash drive and dropped onto the PS3 and 360 HDDs to add to the editors library though. But seriously, when it comes down to it, all you need is the editor and a scripter which in Unreal's case COMES WITH THE GAME.

Doesn't matter. The PC version was the better version......there's no reason it isn't. It's because the PC has high standards (go read GS's "About Our Rating System" page) and it was a 3 year old game.
