What if Crysis was a console only game then, because that's the only reason the PC is still in this war, because of one game that hardly anyone has a computer good enough to play.ball_of_air
You forgot about Hellgate London, Spore, StarCraft 2, World In Conflict, Company of Heroes OF, and Valve's community of 13 million active users that say you're insane. Not to mention, if it wasn't for the PC, you wouldn't have upcoming games like:
Unreal Tournament 3 (Epic, obvious)
Half Life 2, Episode 1, Episode 2, Portal, Team Fortress 2 (Valve, best dev company in the world)
Enemy Territory: Quake Wars (id software, obvious)
Bioshock (System Shock 2 developers)
Frontlines: Fuel of War (Battlefield Mod developer of Desert Combat)
 Clive Barker's Jericho (Undying)
 C&C 3 (Obvious)
And the list goes on and on and on. Credit needs to go where credit's due buddy. Without the PC, companies wouldn't have a leg to stand on in this industry, and it's been the leading platform for new IP's since the dawn of PC Gaming. If you want independent developers to die away, you sir are challenged. Â
