I don't like RPGs on the PC. I like RTS, but im not gonna go "omg teh starcraft 2!!" and FPS are boring..with or without mods. PC has no platform games either. Hmm, so lets see why don't I have a PC? Maybe because I couldn't care less about mods since the best the PC has to offer is from genres I really don't care about.

It all comes down to taste little hermy..stop thinkin the PC is better than God and life combined because its really not.

I don't have XFire and the PC doesn't have the same games that game consoles have. This is one of the reasons why people buy game consoles for gaming, instead of PC's. With "plug & play" ease of use and a family oriented evironment for playing on a console, PC's are more for single playing geek gamers. Game consoles are more family friendly and work better for teenages who have friends over to play. How many times do you see teenage boys flock around a PC to play a multiplayer game? Nuff said.

The game selection or the PC is pure oppinion.

I don't want many PC games. I like the console's selection better.

My priorities are like this:

1. Buy Mass Effect machine
2. Buy Killzone 2 machine
3. Upgrade PC to Crysis standards

Each of which are about a year apart.

No it isn't. If your a single geek boy, maybe you can enjoy PC gaming alone. But for people who have family and friends who love playing video games, the console is without a doubt the BEST way to go. You'll have to pay at least $400 more then a $350 XBox 360 for a halfway decent PC that may be able to play Crysis or CoD4.

Yeah..exactly your saying personal opinion, while TC is trying to tell us that either you game on a PC or don't game at all. Also, yeah FPS are boring on consoles aswell. You say platform is lame..again personal opinion. I have the money to build a PC..infact I have the money to get all 3 consoles plus a high end gaming PC. Do I want to? No. I also like games other than platform games, like RPG. Those are my two favorite genres, but I enjoy all.

No it isn't. If your a single geek boy, maybe you can enjoy PC gaming alone. But for people who have family and friends who love playing video games, the console is without a doubt the BEST way to go. I agree that the pc is the pc is the best gamng platform but after fighting to play bioshock a game I bought console gaming does not seem so bad anymore. With all drm crap in pc games I want to say @#$% it and just not pay at least I would not be upset if I have a problem. ChiChiMonKilla

When I see people that have no @#$%ing clue wtf they are talking about it just makes me laugh. I upgraded my pc (new cpu,motherboard and gpu) to play bioshock in dx10 mode and my serial number got revoked. No biggie right just contact steam but they could not help me, I bought a retail copy and it still would not work so I looked in the manual and the support number was wrong, Then I contacted 2k games and they had no @#$%ing clue wtf was happening with their own game and sent me to securerom who gave me the run around.

Finally after almost a week with me having to threaten legal action I got a new key, Yeah this is normal right I will never buy another 2k game again they can go suck themselves. I did not buy a game and upgrade my pc for god knows what to be installed on my pc and to be having to prove myself to strangers over and over again just to play a GAME !!

I don't like some moron telling me I have to jump thru hoops to verify I bought the game afterI paid good money for their game. I hate DRM and I will not turn off my anti-virus and firewall just to play a game !!

If this is whatI have to go thru then I will stick to console games in the future !!

You ask anybody here they will tell you I am a pc gamer and have always bought the pc version. However this game has left me wondering about DRM on pc games and the money spent on hardware to play a game on max settings like bioshock. Sure I want the best version but I have a 360 and ps3 and I just slap the disc in and play on my 1080p hdtv. Does it look as good of play as well no but it works. This whole experience has left my wary about what other upcoming games might have issues.

It's easy to lol now but the effort to play bioshock just makes me paranoid about future pc game purchases. I was on this very forum claiming pc ownage on bioshock but I am sure no 360 user went thru what I did. I will make sure to wait before buying new pc games to see if they have issues before I buy that's for sure.

And your point? Mine broke after 16 months and MS sent me another one. I'm a happy camper. When my heatsink post (thing that connects to the motherboard broke after 18 months)...I had to rig it with some kevlar thread and buy a new heatsink.

Oh ya, that heatsink thing was on my PC, so I was out of luck on thefree repair.

Either way you need a display device. So if you have a TV you can hook your 360 up to it. You *might* be able to hook your PC up depending on the graphics card and TV. But we really don't even need to go there...it's understood you can display the 360 on your PC monitor and your PC on your TV.

ivactually had 6 360's then decided to sell it and put the moeny tomy cpu in buying a q660.and one year later new gpu's make the 360 inferior...now thats quality
