It's not....I still own that 360 PRESENTLY. So I find it to bea huge advantage for me.mikasa
For YOU, very impotant operative you have there. Lets see how many people upgraded when the 360 came out. You know what, I don't even have to ask, probabl NONE. With the advent of the 70 series around the corner, and the promise of DX10 hardly anyone would have been stupid enough or foolish enough to upgrade at that time.

[QUOTE="legol1"]Perfect hermit logic, first they will tell you the best graphics are on pc , but that kind of pc is expensive and they will tell you, you can play on a low end pc but low end pc have not so good graphics if you compare to a 360 and every time they will answer just upgrade it. LOLlegol1

If you want xbox 360 graphics on pc ie 720p @ 60fps in dx9 mode with medium to high settings it's very cheap on pc. You could build a $500 pc and beat the 360 if you don't include the monitor and kbam you should already have. As a matter of fact a $500 gaming pc will look as good or better with bioshock.

I have no idea where you guys think you need a 1k pc just to beat the ps3 or 360, most console games are getting 30fps in dx9 mode. If you want to upgrade and you know what you want you could get a great gaming pc with a little elbow grease.

LOL a500$ pc dont run nothing near a 360 YOU lie just like the fanboy you are 500$ pc run internet and word you will pay almost 100$ just for a good power supply .

This was proven already hereare the facts in living color for all you pc haters. http://www.gamespot.com/users/kodex1717/video_player?id=dnNixjv-5b8Juz7e

A couple of things to note: I am playing with all settings set to high at 1440x900. The number you see is my current number frames per second. You'll notice at the end I claim that it was running at about 30FPS; I know it was closer to 20. The in-doors areas give me around 40FPS most of the time. I just couldn't film that because I had to hold the camera and would need both hands to move and look. The 360 version is 720p and runs at 30fps or lower plus it's on medium settings this little $550 buck pc own the 360

lol it is just the introdution cinematic and its lagging you made a fool of yourself with that video HAHAHA

How this is the pc:

AMD 4600+ X2 processor - $95

ECS AMD690GM-M2 Socket AM2 Motherboard - $65

WINTEC AMPO DDR2-667 1GB stick RAM - $32

Maxtor (I think.) 250GB 7200RPM Hard Disk - $50

Sapphire 2600XT GDDR3 256MB Video Card - $105

Xclio Stablepower 460W Power Supply - $50

Atrix Case - $55

Windows XP OEM - $90

Running at higher settings than the 360 version with FRAPS running in the background

That proved you don't need a 1k pc to play bioshock at high settings on pc to get thoses graphics you need a 360 and a 720p hdtv that cost more:lol:

My gaming rig destroys the 360 Mighty ATI console Crusher !!

Oh wow, what a new and revolutionary piece of info. The PC has the best hardware? Do you think? Gee whiz, thanks for enlightening me!

And I do not believe that PC games line-up is good enough to justify the price of new hardware.

My PC gaming strategy is quite simple: I stay one generation behind with my hardware.

So with the PC, I am always playing the good games from the last-gen.

That saves money, because I am nver buying cutting edge hardware.

ghored654321

if the pc library isnt good then stop gaming because the pc has the most AAA games each year and has the most AA games each year if you like bad games then buy a console

I didn't say it wasn't good.

I said it wasn't good enough to justify the price of new hardware.

you only need to spend around 150 more than a console and its so much better

For you perhaps its so much better but for me, its not. I rent many games a year (that I couldn't buy otherwise) so PC gaming is much more costly than just the extra $300 (not to mention other inherent problems but since we are discussing price....).

Because we all know EVERYONE has a membership to blockbuster or has a video game rental store around them. Its not practical for some people like me. So in my area, renting games aren't really a viable option. Even if it was, I'd rather own the game.

With online, anything can be a viable option. Regardless, I clearly said FOR ME not for everyone. Please read the statements carefully before posting.

To bad for them. Everyone I know does. But then again, I'm not referring to the 14 - 16 yr olds anyway. Oh, and I bet the next thing your going to say is........... many people don't have cars to drive to blockbuster?? But they have extra cash to buy a gaming rig?? Then there are those that don't know how to use the internet.......... I'm sure discussing .0001 % of the population with all the exact same problems is worth your time but not mine. Sorry.

[QUOTE="killab2oo5"]...What PC are you talking about?A good gaming PC for 400/550/750 dollars? >.> I find console gaming funner than PC gaming, console gamers are more...o.O expressional and easier to get along with in my opinion. When playing PC games, they only spam messages after getting a kill or never say nothing at all.You guys put to much emphasis on mods too,I downloaded too many mods to count for Source...and found only Source Forts,HL2 Synergy Coop, and Gary Mod 9to actually be fun...point is most mods suck but theyre treated as a godsend. They open up many possibilities, but majority of them dont come anywhere near the possibilites.Vandalvideo
That seems overly hypocritical when you have an UNREAL TOURNAMENT SIGNATURE. "Ludicrous kill, GOD like, HOLY ****". :/ But seriously, there are plenty of user friendly PC games, not to mention a lot of console games are starting to make their way to the PC.

e.e How am I being a hypocrite?Because im bashing a PC game when i have a PC/360 game in my sig?>.> I guess millions are hypocrites because the prefer a certain car dealership over another even though they all sale cars...or millions are hypocrites because they dislike one movie but love another, even though theyre both movies.Your being a hypocrite when you call someone a hypocrite...because were all hypocrites.

Im sure your right that there are a plenty of user friendly communities, but overall comparing pc gamers to console gamers as being more open and expressing, xbox live gamers would lead.Half of the fun of an online game, for live anyways,is communication. Its fun talking and making jokes while playing, ive plenty many hours of CSS,HL2:DM and those mods and only came across 2 people that actually used there mic in the game like someone on live would.

O_o Theres also many many PC games that already have and have made their way to consoles, what does this has to do with this? Its not like majority of the live community will go to PC with it.

We used to have a Hollywood Video but it closed down a long time ago. So did the movie gallery. If I want to rent a game in my area I have to drive about 20-30 miles. Thats just not practical.

yeah, right. You ever read the text on a 20" SDTV from a PC? They'd be lucky to log on yet alone surf the web to download drivers to keep it current.

Because PCs clearly don't have a 800X600 setting. Totally. Thats roughly equivalent to 480i. I've ran my PC to a SDTV plenty of times.

Non-techies don't know how. Believe me more people are way more confused by the inside of a PC than aren't. Also not everyone wants to put the time in just to safe a hundred or two-hundred bucks. If they wanted to play games they'd get a console. If htey wanted to do PC stuff AND play games as a bonus they'd buy a PC.

If everyone wanted to and knew how to build PCs Dell & HP wouldn't be leading in sales over home-built jobs.

Thats funny, I could read it perfectly fine. Lier or overreacting. Oh and 360 text for games like Dead Rising are not readable on SDTV either. You act like its a PC only problem.

Wait which is it? Can you read the text perfectly fine? Or is it a problem for both platforms? You're consusing me. You first say its fine on the PC...but then say the 360 ALSO has that problem. How can it be a problem AND not a problem at the same time?

If you have a place that sells PC parts or PCs, it will probably have a guy that can hook it up for you chump. Of course you totally didn't know that, because you're talking out of nowhere right now. Bestbuy, circuitcity, etc all have people that can put it together for you.

Right, And while there...if you add in their costs and buying their parts....you're better off just buying one off the shelf.

And name-calling is against the TOC so please cut it out.

You must have a magic TV or one that takes digital input as any TV i've tried the RCA composite connection on stinks with PC. And anyone else that tried it will know it stinks too. So you lied yesterday. And it appears you are doing the same today. So I'm done with you again...if you can't tel the truth because you're afraid to admit you're wrong...what's the point in educating you? Unreal Tournament,FEAR,Half Life,Counter Strike,Morrowwind,Team Fortress,Command and Conquer,LOTR:BFME,SystemShock(BioShock is kind of a sequal),Marathon,Duke Nuken(I think was PC before PS),Doom...those are some of the biggest of the biggest games for PC and theyve made it to consoles, theres many more.Again, what does this have to do with what were talking about? If a games multiplat...is that supposed to be bad? Most of my favorite games of all time (Splinter Cell:Chaos Theory,Halo,CoD2..etc) are multiplats,I heart multiplats.

You clearly don't want to know anything outside of your fantasy world.mikasa

Only a small amount. However, we STILL have the most exclusive high quality games. So far this gen we have 66 AA games, 42 of which are AAE. We also have 9AAA games, 6 of which are exclusive. Now compare that to the measely 6-12 AAE games the 360 has.

Ah so you have a TV that takes VGA. Taht explains it. You and the other 10 peple with SDTV VGA sets...have fun. Most other SDTV are composite. Some are component which helps alot, but still that's the exception not the norm.

BTW: http://www.m-w.com/dictionary/chump that doesn't sound like a nice name to me. So you've resorted to name calling and lying again. Got it!

As far as I know, the 360 has 9 exclusives that scored over 8, the Wii has 4 and the PS3 has 3.

[QUOTE="RaveRabbid"]With online, anything is a viable option. Regardless, I clearly said FOR ME not for everyone. Please read the statements carefully before posting.Vandalvideo
I know you said for you, btu whats the poitn in arguing that if its not a viable option for everyone? Not everyone has a Blockbuster in their area. Oh and not everyone has a credit card and or paypal to use gamefly.

Same reason that YOU think it's viable for all PC owners to use a TV inplace of a monitor. It's NOT a viable option for about 99% of the PC owning population. I can bet you less than 1% would even think of using the TV.

e.e Resorting to Gamespot scores for ownage...nice.No one takes Gamespot seriously anymore, not even the people who post in the forums, but the scores are still what we go by.O_o Were talking about online, why are you switching to which has the better game?

Yes,I listed a small amount of some very big name titles thats went to consoles, and im sure I can name many many more, but that would be getting off topic.

Which in the end means nothing. Only what, 1/3 of our exclusives made it to consoles. Guess what? Thats not a majority.

"you've been owned LAWL" Is that the best you can do? I showed it was a viable option, I win.
