In the past seven years the PC has had the most AAA titles, offered continuous improvements in graphics, online, physics, sound, and control. Not only that, but a PC can interface with Xbox 360 controllers, PS2 controllers (via adaptor), and Wiimotes. So much for that "PC is the worst platform" theory.
The PC can connect to an SDTV, HDTV, or computer monitor. The PC can be controlled with remote controls like a TIVO unit, and the PC can be outfitted with limitless software to add functionality. Record your gameplay sessions using FRAPs while chatting Xfire. Connect to the Xbox LIVE network using Halo 2 - even download full game titles over Steam.
With emulators, Gametap, and web gaming you can add thousands of cla ssic games, free games, and online titles to your repertoire. So, let's be honest here, the PC is quite possibly the best platform out there. It's only weak points are a lack of fighting games and platformers, higher cost than consoles, and the requirement for a certain degree of technical expertise to unlock its potential.subrosian
platformers? Only if you like 3D ones, in 2D you will find plenty, more than on consoles actualy :)
