PC or Consoles, which is your fav gaming platform?

I only own last gen's PS 3, Xbox 360, last gen PS 3 was my favourite gaming platform.

In current gen, PC is my fav gaming platform.

Right now its been a portable console with Wii U and 3DS. I enjoy the freedom of moving around some.

They tend to have the games I prefer and exclusive content regarded as the best the generation has to offer.

Console can never compete with PC. The limitations on console make console gaming a vastly inferior experience for me.

Consoles in their traditional form. Best games of all time originated on consoles and play best on their native platform.

PC easily, consoles have their place too for the moment and I really love their heritage, but PC absolutely shits all over everything they attempt to be and do.

Monitors is amazing. Gaming to me is more than just playing the game, it's how easy it is, what I can do during gaming. On my PC I can play a game on one screen and having something else on another. It's incredibly when you are playing a turn based game or a game that has some loading.

PC at the end of the game really is more than just for gaming; ability to do things that my consoles just can not. I'm playing a game and someone emails me a file, I can pop open the email from my PC within seconds, with a consoles..well. Playing a game and you need to look at a guide for a build or whatever, it's on the next screen, on a PC..well

PC also have real backward capability. I just reinstalled Diablo 2 with my friends, that's something i can't do with the consoles. I would have to reconnect my old consoles to play the game. Not to mention a PC is nearly the same size as a console, can be hooked up with a tv, and has more power

pc of course, why would I wanna play games on a inferior gaming platform, games I mostly like are pc exclusive games anyway, so its pc for me.

There is no real advantage with having a console anymore, maybe except for a few good exclusive games.

if I wanna play games on my couch, I can simply connect a steam controller to my pc and my pc to a tv, no mouse and keyboard required.

Consoles. Always consoles. You can't get the first party games from console brands generally on the PC and that's a major disadvantage.

PC.. obviously for all of the well known advantages.. more games, more flexibility, cheaper prices, free online, sharper visuals, superior performance and emulators.

PC whenever possible. With more and more formerly console only franchises crossing over, there's even less reason for me to need a console.

Currently, none- Nintendo 3DS, and that's a handheld.

I wish i had all your gaming systems as Ps 4,WiiU,3DS and everything else :P

PC - I like the freedom.

I get to decide what settings I run my games at and don't have to do as the developers say. I also like having just one system for everything.

Right now, it's definitely the PC. Any time I have to jump into a game is on PC at the moment.

PC, but I've been forced into using my XB1 more as of late. MKX is no longer supported on PC, so I'm playing it full time on XB1 now.

PC, it's really not close for me at this point. The performance benefits alone, the options for customization, and the larger game selection all makes it too hard to side with the consoles. Plus 30 frames per second? Gross.

PC is the one I enjoy more overall, but it feels like I'm buying more 3DS/Wii U games these days.

I'm gaming on a console, but I can't argue that a PC is just better. May have to buy a new one soon.

The convenience of playing multiplayer locally is a big plus for my Xbox though.

well I haven't turned on my PS4 in over 2 months at this point, so PC by a few orders of magnitude. I can easily switch to playing games on my TV with a wireless controller from my PC though, if that wasn't the case I'd probably use the console more since being able to relax on the couch and play games is much nicer than sitting at a desk after a long day at work.

if you have the money and inclination there is no facet in which console gaming is better

Consoles, they just offer the better games in my opinion. A much more seamless experience as well.

Consoles always had the better streamlined experience but overall my favorite has been the PC since the Dreamcast ended.

The only thing I prefer PC for is strategy games and soon virtual reality. For everything else, I prefer consoles.

• I prefer physical media over digital media and physical media is close to dead on PCs

I've gamed a lot on both over the years, and both have their pros & cons... but overall, have to say consoles is my fav.

strongly disagree with all your four statements,first off pc gaming can be just as releaxing, secondly "better exclusive is more like a matter of taste, but pc has way more exclusive games". third statements is also just a matter of taste. And the last one speaks for itself.

Consoles all day long, where the absolute best of the best games the industry has to offer according to critics.

PC has never has an excluive 10/10 game nor a recent excluive GOTY in the last decade+ as per GS, so if you want to play those, the BEST games as per GS, industry and critics, you need consoles.

But to give you the benfit of the doubt, I'll wait here for you post an EXCLUSIVE 10/10 game or an EXCLUSIVE GOTY that GS, the forum you are posting on has awarded.

the escapist gave pillar of eternity a 5 out of 5, which basicly the same as a 10 out of 10

Because its the forum we are posting on and TRUMPS all, awwwww yeahhhhhh. It's the truth too, but go ahead, whine, complain, stomp your feet and add some salt, bause as GS sees it PC hasn't earn these most coveted awards. Only consoles and that's where the deem the absolute BEST of the foot to the FLOOR, PEDAL to the METAL. BEST games are. Nothing you say will change those FACTS.

But go ahead and +1 post your..bu bu bu bu GS isn't the only one that matter while you try to run cows on TLOU or any other sony game on their score, but GOD no, we cant use them for your PRECIOUS PC...NO, that's would be a TRAGEDY.
