In case you didn't know GS has NEVER given PC the coveted, sought after PERFECT 10/10 EXCLUSIVE score or a recent EXCLUSIVE goty in the last decade+. Site has gone through many different game reviewers and gosh darnit, PC just cant seem to get those. :(

Do you think gamespot is more reliable than the escapist, gs gave modern warfare a 8 out of 10 with a great approval.

If I had to choose and could only play on one platform it would be PC but I don't have to choose, and either do you.

If you love games you play on all the platforms you can so you don't miss out on great games. Like the elitist braindead prick above bleating on about 'PC master race' you'll find a lot of PC gamers have very little interest in games but a lot of interest in bleating about what hardware they own to people on the internet who don't give a flying **** what they do or don't own.

There aren't many decent PC exclusives anymore unless you want to turn your PC into a SNES and bleat on about shit indie games but multiplats which let's face it is where the real action is, PC is the best platform to play them on.

But I won't be playing Uncharted 4, Persona 5, Star Ocean 5, Nier Automata, Detroit etc on a PC EVER so I own a PC and a PS4 and also an Xbox One which is dumping all its 'exclusives' on PC seemingly to Phil this is a winning strategy telling PC gamers you will never ever need an Xbox One the man is a fucking dunce.

Anyway, GAMERS play on all platforms that have games they want to play. Morons bleat on about 'my hardware is teh bestest' which has **** all to do with games and the world would be a better place if these cretins were put down.

Usually PC but with a GTX 275 I had to fall back on my PS4.

PC, of course. Both desktop and laptop. Strange because prior to 2012, I disliked gaming on the laptop. The last time I got really tempted to move back to consoles was 1996.

PC by far.

I prefer consoles when it comes to pure fun, games that put a smile on your face a la Nintendo.

For deeper experiences, I think Pc gaming is where it's at.

Last gen X360 was my platform of choice. And I entered this gen with PS4 but really now PC is my preferred platform.

Consoles as almost all my favorite games are found on them.

Once you go PC the rest seems so, how do I put this... uninformed I guess you could say. People who really haven't experienced PC gaming have absolutely no concept of how much of a higher level it's on.

Didn't we talk this topic out a while ago and we figured out that according to GS there was 1 exclusive 10/10 game on consoles that PC didn't have??

Edit: Ah hang on, it was PS4 we were talking about.

But yeah, to be fair here, the PS4 has 1 exclusive 10/10 game and it's a re-release of a PS3 game. You can brag, but it is small lead.

Edit Again: So there are 9, 10/10 games all up on GS dating back to 1998.

Hmm, looks like PC is actually a tie for access to the most 10/10 games. So if you wanted to actually play the most 10/10 games then you would go the PS3 or PC. If you wanted the most access and the highest rated exclusives that aren't 10/10 then it's PC by about 1000 miles.

You're confusing platforms with consoles. PC isn't a console, but it is a legit gaming system through and through. It's been the one single constant in the gaming landscape.

I didn't say it wasn't a platform, I'm calling it a pseudo-platform. You're saying its a platform in the widest sense (inconstant O/Ss, hardware, peripherals, environments etc). I'm saying in the narrow sense (set hardware, O/S, peripherals) the PC can never qualify.

If someone asks you what your favorite car is, you could say Ford GT, but you couldn't say "internal combustion engine".

Pc gaming can be poisonous in a way that gamers often seek for top performance. It can be fun, but also tiring at times. With consoles you don't have to worry about fine tuning the game, because it's already optimized to work for that hardware.

If I had to choose only one platform, then it'd be pc, because as Sony (advertisement) stated for the Playstation, it's the Pc that actually does everything.

But when it comes to pure gaming, I personally prefer consoles, because I don't have to think about settings, issues and system requirements; and because often console exclusives appeal me the most, that's why I usually wait and buy consoles at the end of the generation, when the respective libraries are pretty much set; that way I get to find both the systems and exclusive games for a realtively cheap price.

Well I like variety and quality, can build a gaming PC, and can read and understand instruction manuals, so I prefer PC.

I mainly like consoles for the few high quality exclusives like Captain Toad and Ratchet and Clank, as well as the freedom to get off my butt while playing without being tethered to a keyboard and mouse.

I am a solely PC gamer though I have played with XBOX which was attached to telly instead of a monitor and it just had another feel. The problem with PC gaming is of course the constant upgrading which is rather expensive. If you buy a console, you can be sure that you can play all new games for a couple of years but PC games are demanding and if you want to have a smooth running good quality graphics etc. you just have to upgrade constantly.
