I don't understand people saying 360 + PS3, that is possibly the worst one-gen-combo that i can think of. Actually it is, i can't think of a worse combo. You'd be paying for online twice, or once for half the attention it gets. You'd have spend tons of money on two systems that are hardly different in library and direction, both with very pricy games. You'd miss out on anything new happening to gaming (You miss the best presentation, touchscreen, motion) and would be stuck playing FPS with freaking dual analogue. I really can't think of anything worse, it baffles me.

and to me that is fine, I mean the PC controls might be better for FPS, but playing it on the TV makes me forget the slightly inferior controls, but I agree with your point, except for the touchscreen and motion controls part which I don't give a crap about, there's no point in a ps3 + 360 combo, PC + ps3 seems like the best combo to me.

anything with a wii in it is a horrible combo and should never be spoken off......ps3+pc is the ONLY combo you need......and hardcore games on the wii LOL :shock: thats like saying the kkk are big fans of the chris rock show.

You're only saying that because you don't own both the 360 and PS3.They don't need to own it though. You can see that far too many games are on both platforms.

You don't "need" to own anything. And, personally, having the option of getting the better of 2 mutliplat versions is nice, and far more inexpensive than dropping cash for an updated PC. Not to mention there are exclusives on the 360 and PS3 that are must haves, imo. I can't think of a single must-have game out on the PC (that I can't play with my crappy PC, anyway).

The best combo is all of them, well I know some consoles only have a hand full of games that aren't on another platform but if your a gamer and not a fanboy with money in your pocket it really is worth while. PC is the main platform since it gives multi-platform games that extra polish and the rest are more than worth the money for the exclusives... although the 360 is getting close to being extinct in terms of playtime with me.
If I had to choose just 2 systems, that would be my ideal ones. Most exclusives/Best multiplats. They both complement each other quite nicely. The only genre that you'll miss the most are sports (Though the Wii has been getting pretty good sport multiplats lately.)
Everyone is just gonna say whatever combination they have is the best combination. Personally think that you really can't go wrong with a high-end PC and a PS3, Wii and 360.
