People jumping ship to PC gaming

all next gen consoles are major flops right now except possibly the wii U and even that nobody wants to buy.  Im seeing a trend where alot of people are jumping on the pc bandwagon.  Well I welcome all of you who want to join, the master race's doors are always open.  Our games are cheap and plentiful, their is plenty of competition for the consumers $$, online gaming has always been and always will be completely free.  The platform is completely open to one and to all.  If you want to play on a monitor you can, if you want to play on a tv with a controller you can also do that.

It maybe true that the PC model right now is similar to the xbox one, however since the competition is fierce and there is alot of different vendors out there, you can rest assured you w will never be ripped off.

i wouldn't say i've "jumped ship" to PC gaming as i've been doing it as well as console gaming for the last couple generations but i'll definately just be gaming on PC for the next generation, there's only one console even vaguely worth buying and they're charging for online now, and i'm not really a fan of any of their main franchises, so really don't see the point, when i could just buy a new graphics card instead.

Bought a gaming pc a few months ago cost me £689 and love it, always played on the PC but never had a really good rig.Duckyindiana

If you like PC gaming much, it's always worth to know how to build & upgrade the PC. It's easy, and plenty of resources on the Internet you can learn from. There's a sticky in PC Hardware forum that guides you to building.

You ruined any credibility your opinion held IMO.

I am supportive of people stating their opinions, Im supportive of a heated arguament or  reasoned logical debate.

But to insinuate that someone who buys a console is bending over, throwing their money away or plain laughable is just ignorant. If you a PC gamer thats precisely one reason I wouldnt want to be associated with your elitist ignorance.

I definitely see myself going back to PC gaming, and possibly grab a Wii-U as well.

I want a centralized entertainment hub? A PC can be that, and then some. I want a gaming intensive system? A PC can be that, and then some. So basically, the best of both worlds, and then some.

The pc is always there, in the corner, with an old office chair next to it, ready to be played on but... no, not sexy enough. Too much hassle and sacrifices for a small graphics improvement. 

I'm switching over to the PS4.

I switched to PC gaming at the end of this generation, it was good, but not for me. Helloooo PS4.

Already am a PC gamer. Getting the only console with getting to go with my PC. A.K.A. PS4. Wii U is last gen tech and I already have a PS3 to cover that angle. I am also not into having my rights/freedoms stripped away from me, so that kills the X1. First gen ever where it was made so easy for me to decide which console to get. Thanks Nintendo and Microsoft for shoving me out your doors and straight into Sony's.AmazonTreeBoa

i guess Id consider my PC as more than half decent, a high end machine.  By half decent, I mean anyone with an intel core i5 processor and a $150 graphics card.

buying a PC now seems pretty silly. 

not sure why anyone would pay a hefty markup for PC  hardware when consoles can be had for below cost just right around the corner.

There still has yet to be a game on PC that has reached the critical acclam of anything like Super Mario Galaxy, Halo 3 or The Last of Us  so these guys need to stop beating their chest acting as if PC is so great because if we look to metacritic PC exclusive games are no where to be found on the top 10, but are littered with them for consoles.

If you go with PC only you will miss out on the best games of the generation.

I'm getting a PS4, waiting 3-4 years for it to become obsolete, then buying a PC. No point buying a PC now.
