[QUOTE="z_gaming_master"][QUOTE="fanboy-buster"][QUOTE="z_gaming_master"] [QUOTE="rhaigun"]We know about the big 3. It's the fact that there are only 3 of them.fanboy-buster
Yup. What exactly is coming after the big three? oh, mario kart. And disaster day of crisis... Seriously, the Wii gets bashed not just because of this but also because the big 3 are the same big 3 that were on the gamecube. Nintendo, where teh revolution?
Was Mario Galaxy on the Gamecube, I must have missed it....
No, back then Mario was called 'Mario Sunshine' and it scored an 8.0. Galaxy is looking similar. I'm sure it'll be a much better game, the gravity effects especially look great, but its Mario. Again. Heck, from every video I've seen its a Mario platformer. I'm not sure what the Wii-mote is supposed to be doing for it, but it looks as if it could easily be accomplished on the GC.
You need glasses if you think It could have been made for the Cube, at least not at 60fps.Mario is a mascot, since the NES days Mario has been with Nintendo.
Mario platformers are rare since they are found 1 per generation.
And Mario isnt wearing a superssoaker on his back this time
I didn't mean in terms of graphics, I meant in terms of innovation. The Wii was supposed to be a 'revolution' that was what it was originally called. Yet I see nothing in Galaxy that couldn't be done with a standard controller. I'm sure they'll be a few things, but the concept and basics of design and control seem very familiar. And yeah, Mariohas been around since the NES,and he's been in 3D for a good 3 generations now. Isn't it time Nintendo changed the formula a little? I was hoping for that with Galaxy, but it seems to bepretty regular. Maybe the next Mario game.
