They still appeal to me, but bayonetta doesn't.

Well, the biggest change that I noticed is that strategy games such as Hearts of Iron or Europa universalis(a style of strategy games that didn´t interested me when I was, say, 15yrld)are now in my favourite genres along with RTS,WRPG´s and classic adventure games.

As far as bayonetta is concerned,I´m not really interested in the game that much, but then again, games like GoW or DMC never really were my cup of tea.

I can see why people like them(heck,I loved streets of rage, battletoads or double dragon a lot back in the day),but now, button mashers aren´t really what I look in videogames.

Although I migth give GoW3 a go,since I´m fairly interested in the greek mithology.

especially the ones who have a family, live on their own or are over 25yo. do action frantic games like Bayonetta still appeal you?

Personally I can't enjoy these kinds of games like when I was a teenager. back then I had more time and more energy I guess.

is any of you guys experiencing this difficulty to play such fast-paced games as well?

if its a game is good, bring it! only thing I have issues with these days is RPGs, since you have to dedicate so much time to them.

I've never been a fan of them from the get go to be quite honest. My preferences have gone from platformers\sport to FPS/sports and RPGs. I've never been able to get into a MGS that much simply because the story doesn't interest me in the slightest.

as I grew older I abandoned:

- platformers

- rpg's

I can play the other genres as long as they have an appealing story, better if they relate to reality. let's say I'm more picky now, but I'm sad at the thought I can't enjoy shiny colorful games anymore..

It really does depends on your life. If you work a lot, have kids and a wife/girlfriend who doesn't let you have your "free time" I can see it being hard being good at a game or enjoying it more than once I know for a fact that when I get older (I'm 21 now), get kids and the job Im educating myself for I'll still be able to play my game because my current girlfriend will allow me. Sure there will be less time than now, but I cant see how I should not be able to enjoy myself. I'm guessing it's a matter of priority in your sparetime really and how your situation is.

Heath and career comes 1st.

Relationships, only if they are profitable.

Gaming, when I have time, mostly fridays and saturdays all day. Fps's and rts the most.
