Yep, killing rats is bad nevermind the game allowing you to kill hundreds in the campaign--and thousands of people online. No biggy.Stevo_the_gamer
Nope, that's fine. PETA doesn't care about people.

No biggy.Stevo_the_gamerI'm far from a PETA member, but I would be lying if I said in movies I get more sad when humans die than when dogs or other animals do. I don't know why even lol.
Yeah who gives a crap about those evil humans getting shot and blown up? The poor rats are the TRUE victims here.
Go to hell, PETA.
This isn't the first time that PETA has got its knickers in a twist over a video game. Last year it expressed outrage at the lack of a vegetarian option in fleshy indie platformer Super Meat Boy, countering with a spoof effort called Super Tofu Boy, much to developer Team Meat's amusement.Eurogamer link
Gotta be kidding me.
gawd y'all! rats is people too!
you think it's easy to take the side of rats... and fleas... and bubonic plague?
seriously, whos protecting the anthrax and its right to exist????
Gee. I wonder what nastygram PETA will send me if I posted a video of my character in Crysis shooting down a whole flock of birds with a machinegun. That or grenading a flock of chickens.
PETA is a big joke. They spend more time making up controversies and trashing Epic Meal Time and games then they do actually helping any damn animals. It also doesn't help that they got trolled into complaining about Obama swatting a fly and getting schooled by Super Meat Boy creators.
I could ramble on about how I hate PETA for spending all their money on celebrity endorsements and eco terrorist court trials then on animals or animal charities, but I could go on for a long time that way.
Wait, one scene about killing a sewer rat? and PETA gets all butt hurt over it??
Better not have them look at Skyrim.
Wow, got to love PETA's inconsistency. They are acting like it is a real rat dying. You know, instead of a bunch of zeroes and ones.
1.Rats are filthy creatures that spread disease and destroy most all other forms of life in a area so peta should be all for limiting the rat population.
2.The rat sequence was the most stupid part of the game and it is infact is the bullet point to showing that bf3's single player is horrible that you have to take a 30 QTE just to kill a rat.
3.it would have been far easier to just grab the rat and fling it far away the rat likely wont have survived and it would have taken less time...
Crap I shot a chicken in Gears 3..Dom and I were hungry while fighting the Lambert...is that going to get me into trouble?

Considering it was a stealth sequence, I don't imagine the guards would have ignored a flying, shrieking rat coming out of a man sized pipe.

except the fact that during the rat sequence there is no one infront of you so no one would have noticed. Please Log In to post.
