True. They were told several times that PGR4 looks as good as GT5. The game is going to be awesome.

I never saw PGR 3's intro, but that game looked amazing anyway, especially for a launch game. This trailer has already been confirmed by the developers as in-game. What's the problem here? It's an off-screen camera taping the trailer, so that probably makes it looks better than it normally does. But it still looks amazing, and it's still in-game.

GT 5 has better graphics and fully detailed interiors, it also has more cars. And now that they have added online, car damage and advanced physics and AI it easily wipes the floor with any other racing sim out there.MGS9150

It might wipe the floor with other racing games available now by the time it finally releases but it is still a huge might. PGR has it all with semi-realistic physics that keeps an element of arcade in there. This keeps the game fun while maintaining the challenge level.

Can't wait for this, loved PGR3.

Yes Sir, but only cosmetic I believe. That is one of the elements it keeps arcadey thankfully.

Its some what unwarranted to say that PGR4 is better than GT5 when we haven't played either just yet, is it not? They both look amazing to me. PGR4 looks like the first racer that I will purchase on any system in my life and GT5 will be the second. The weather is simply striking and caused my mouth to drop.

Yeah, PGR4's weather effects are unparalleled. That part in the trailer with the snow had my mouth open. I don't know if PGR4 is better-looking than GT5, but I do know that it oozes significantly more style.

Personally I think it is impossible to compare the two games from agameplay standpoint, released or not,as they both try to achieve different things. The only parts you can truely compare are the graphics, which you can do pretty well from videos.

Even so, I have to say that I think it will be a case of GT having the slightly better car models while PGR gets the better environments. That said both games are going to be worthy of a purchase i'm sure even if i'm looking forward to this more.

:lol: GT5: P = 60fps @ 1080p. If GT5 ran at 30fps, it could easily surpass that. But then PGR4 is no better than gt5: p judging from that vid
