SEGA have just revealed new screens and a trailer for PSO2. So far PC only but expect it to make it to consoles.

This reminds me of the Dreamy Dreamcast days...ah...:P

I lost part of my life to PSO on the Dreamcast, Gamecube and XBOX. That game was so addictive and fun. If this game comes together to be the true sequel that PSU wasn't, Ill be getting it day one for sure.

Damn.....the video was a nostalgic trip. Seeing the PSO type armour and forest nearly brought a tear to my eye. Seems like they're mixing the best from PSU with PSO. Which is great but it did seem a bit too much like PSU with the combo. 3 timed combos is all this game needs. None of those lavish attacks but thats nothing to worry about.

I like the art, but not the characters faces. Graphics are fine and it looks like anyone with a PC from 2006 onwards will be able to run it, which is good.

Only thing i'm worried about is mags. I dont see a single mag. Cause for concern?

Oh and a highly reccommend you guys pick up Phantasy Star Portable 2 for the PSP. A huge improvement over PSU and a fun RPG to boot.

I hope they ditch that crafting system in PSU, not really a fan of that.

I really cant help but to bash the graphics. Its a PC game, Sega definitely couldve made diferent quality settings... I dont get why they didnt. Looks good though.

...who am I kidding? Just please make it 100% text based. I literally can't play a game if the voice acting sounds like something from a horrible anime.

I played a lot of PSO on the gamecube, but it'll never be something I'm willing to pay a monthly fee for. Here's hoping they'll make it free to play online~

Why is every PSU/PSO game released have ugly graphics? Seriously, the game is really fun to play but always have garbage graphics wtf?!?! Is this free too play or *****y monthly fee?silversix_

the graphics are not spectacular but they are probably trying to appeal to the masses since it is online after all.

Graphics look like ****. Honestly, will all the power the PC and this gen can deliver...why don't they make use of it? It's a goddamn insult to gamers that SEGA thinks we're prepared to pay full price for game that looks like it's been developed on the PS2. I hope this game bombs untill they can't make something worthwhile.

Ya, I've played many MMOs in my time, very rarely to a point where I paid per month, but lots of trials and free ones, occassional betas. Usually super high-end graphics ALWAYS means low amount of content. Like they spent 95% of their budget on graphics and only did bare minimum questing and such. WoW does not look super amazing technically, but it has a ton of content, FF14 like I said, looks great, but has like 1 week worth of content.110million

Yes! I'm ready to invest my time in this already. PSO is easily my favorite MMO. Ah, the memories.

Releasing it on the platform where they have the most subscribed game ever made, Star Wars MMO coming out and Guild Wars 2 coming out is probably not a good idea.
