The scorpio will be the most powerful console but most consolites still have 1080p hdtv's. So how will 1080p support be handled. Also xbox needs more exclusives period.

Both the PS4 and xbox one (even worse) only display graphics at medium to high settings. Scorpio is huge even for gamers who have only HD TVs.

1080p 60 frames ultra Battlefield 1 Scorpio will still be awesome. It only 720p on xbox one.

And when you decide to upgrade least you know xbox Scorpio can have 4K native games.

If all your getting from a gtx 1070 class console is 1080p 60fps at the same settings then the scorpio is a waste of money IMO. Now if the scorpio can do 1080p 60fps @ ultra/max settings on all games then we can talk.

We all saw what happened with the ps4 pro and the scorpio needs to do much better.

How is it a waste of money first, it about the TV you have. It up to you to want 4K visuals and buy the tv for it., not MS. The Scorpio will do 1080p 60frames Ultra easily. My gtx970 does that now for most games and its only 4.2 teraflops.
