At first I thought the number was exact and done on purpose. The fact that it is off by a millionth is odd. It was an accident which makes you think System Wars may have real meaning.
 Yeah. But everything has meaning.
So System Wars may have real meaning, but only by accident?
Of course SW has meaning, and not by accident either. SW has an existence and a purpose. The fact that you're on here at all necessarily presupposes that SW has a direct meaning for you.
Naturally, but is that meaning inherent in the construct of System Wars or is its meaning for me an artifact of my perception of its structure in the context of my experience? Does meaning shared among participants necessitate the existence of meaning inherent in the medium of that sharing, or are our posts merely vessels that carry statements of meaning between fanboys of like types?
For extra credit: does existence truly necessitate purpose?
I hesitated when I first typed the above post to include universality into proceedings, thus opening up the door to the above questions, for which we could sit here for the next 10 years and not find absolute answers to. That is why I kept it subjective and stated that "SW has a direct meaning for you"; whether that "meaning" exists independent of you or not, I don't know and can't answer.
The epistemological nature of SW would be extremely difficult to define, though at the very least I am convinced that "meaning" exists for each individual who has acquaintance with SW.
As for the second question I am going to be more forceful in proceedings and state that every particular that has ever existed, or can be said to "exist", has a purpose. No object has ever come about which does not possess purpose. Some may also argue that both existence presupposes a purpose anyhow, and to state that so and so object that has an existence may also possess a purpose is a tautology, in this regard the two are inseparable.
The only exception which existentialists would argue about is the case of Man. Man obviously exists but does he have a purpose, he is not like a knife or arrow, his existence is special. The existentialists, led by Sartre, would state that even if there was a God Man has been left to his own devices and to create his own freewill. Choice is with him alone, so he has no purpose when he starts but creates his own purpose. But again to accept this argument you would have to accept basic axioms of the existentialist creed which some may view as going against religious teachings. I am not an advocate of the existentialists so I will also argue that man has an existence and a purpose, though this is invariably tied to a belief in God.
It often seems like current events have no meaning, but past events seem important. So, we may not see the significance of System Wars, now. (It really feels like a big waste of time.)
