And it's 60fps. People can insult Nintendo all it wants, but at least Nintendo understand that 60fps is integral to solid gameplay.Â

Looking as terrible as it does it better be 60 FPS. At 30 that would just be super embarrassing.

Actually, it may be 30fps... at least at e3 2012, it was running at 30fps.
This just shows how weak wiiku is, they couldn't even add grass but instead gave it a ps2 quality texture. Viva Pinata a 4+ years old game looks much better than this crap and sheep were spamming "wait for exclusives to judge WiiU's power" lol
I bet wiiu wouldn't even be able to handle this kind of graphics

Wasn't this originally going to be a Wii game anyway?

Hello new and unique user.Â
It seems the answer is yes -Â http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pikmin_3Â - Though development was moved to Wii U.Â
That's what I thought, I knew I heard it somewhere. This just shows how weak wiiku is, they couldn't even add grass but instead gave it a ps2 quality texture. Viva Pinata a 4+ years old game looks much better than this crap and sheep were spamming "wait for exclusives to judge WiiU's power" lol

I'm not going to comment on any of that, but Pikmin 3 DID start out as a Wii game..
You'll shit your pants come e3.
Those ground textures look like N64/PS2 textures up-close.
They should have used detail texturing, tbh.
Otherwise, I like the style and it's running at a silky-smooth consistent 60 fps.
But the point of the game won't be graphics but fun gameplay and it will be over all a well-made, enjoyable game.

Viva Pinata did look fantastic but it was also a very limited, pointless game.

Lol. You're funny...because you actually think you know what you're talking about.

I'm not saying it won't be 60fps, but the game has seen improvements all over since they first showed it, and it was running at 30fps. Seems to me like Pikmin is a game that should shoot for 30fps because detail is a high focus, and the IR pointer is precise as it needs to be with 30fps.Â
What did Pikmin 1 and 2 run at? I'm not sure, but it was 30fps right?
