[QUOTE="Desmonic"] Nope, you didn't read the thread, you read what you wanted to read. Me and a couple users more went into detail answering how this (minus the whole download&play thing) has been done on PS3 since forever ago (login into another console, downloading the games, logout, allow your friend to play for as long as he wants and then "deactivate" the console if you want to let another friend do so).

So no, it's not catching up to last gen since what PS4 does, the PS3 already did(since you implied this was not a feature present in Playstation consoles). But hey, you gave it a go ;)

"Deactivating" the console is not something you have to do with etiher the 360 or PC.

I don't know if I'd count exploitable loopholes as the same thing as what the PS4 is going to offer, or what is already offered on Xbox or Steam.

If it was the same thing then why would Sony make any effort to announce this as a feature? You don't have to worry about that kind of thing now. You just simply log into a different console, log in to your account, and play.

Deactivating means it's better than what the 360 offers. Why? Because YOU don't have to be logged in your friends console every f*ckin 10 minutes, meaning your friend can play as long as he/she pleases. That's why. Drawback being only "2 PS3's" with your games bought by you can be activated at the same time. And by deactivating it means completely removing your login and permissions from your friends consoles. Simple as that. You can even do it on the PSN website. However you can repeat this process an unlimited amount of times, so it's that big of a drawback. An inconvenience at worst.

On the other should you log out from your friends 360 OR lose connection to the internet and after 10 minutes you are f*cked. So much for that huh? Dat sweet, sweet DRM in play. What is offered on the 360 is worse than what's offered on the PS3 and both are worse than what Steam offers.

Also it's not a loophole, it's detailed, explained and accepted by Sony themselves (I've shared the link before on this thread).

The feature he was focusing in particular was the Download and Play while still downloading(which is the only new feature about this), not the fact that you can log in to your friends consoles.

Any more spins or misinformation?

Gamesharing with a 2 system limit is not at all the same thing you can currently get on the PC or 360, and it's also not what was detailed in the article, so I'm really, really, really confused why you're arguing that with me.

*Article talks about being able to go to any countless number of PS4s, log in, and download/play your games meaning you could potentially have your games ready on thousands(millions) of PS4s across the world*

*say that the current Xbox and PC can already do that*

*Nuh uh. Gamesharing! 2 system limit! Deactivations!*

What I was arguing =/= what you seem to be arguing.
