Play Magazine Gives Lair 9.0/10.0

Play TM magazine is the first magazine corp to get their hands on the retail copy of PS3 exclusive game. According to the PLay TM magazine..

So yes, if there's any doubt left, Lair has come together beautifully

Don't assume that because Lair is such a stunning piece of eye candy that there isn't also a substantial game at its core.

It also says all framerate issues have been fixed.

The only negatives were that objectives weren't explained well enough and confusing navigation sometimes.

They say that some of the confusion is because it combines nearly 6 genres into one game...but once you get use to it, it is a game with incredible depth.

It also says that replay value is extremely high-you can receive higher ranks and that unlocks amazing stuff such as new dragons, etc. to kick butt with.

And that is why I don't try and argue about what games I think are good. Fanboys run this place, you know.

I have been all over this game from day 1, and it looks as if it is going to live up to my expectations. Just a few more weeks.

By the way, to all of you saying that this score automatically translates into a low score from GS....maybe you should read the GS hands on from the demo that they played at E3. They sure as hell did not make it sound like it would end up being any 7.0, that's for sure. As a matter of fact, they thought it was pretty amazing.

Ya know what sucks? I have the money for a PS3 right now and I could go out and buy one, but I could not afford any games for it when purchasingit:cry:

Of course I still have Guitar Hero 1 & 2, Dragon Quest 8 and Final Fantasy 8 for my PS2 which could be played on the console until I got a game. Still Lair is one of my most hyped games this year, right up there with Heavenly Sword and Mass Effect.

Meh, the ground combat still looks boring.

Holly crap, they also gave crackdown a 9.5 And motorstorm a 10. :( Things aren't looking good for lair. Though they did give some reasonable scores, like with resistance: 9.0. And they gave ninja gaiden sigma for the ps3 an 8.5.

Those are the most bass akwards scores I've ever seen from a gaming mag. I dont trust that score one bit.
