You can make your own background on XBL, and XBL has IN GAME CUSTOM MUSIC, REAL TIME MESSENGERS, FAST DLs, SUPPORT FOR ALL GAMES.

Whats it matter? Wallpapers on the 360 dashboard dont look as good as they will on the PS3 XMB.....People who own PSP's would agree with this. Uptown

The XBL custom wallpaper looks awesome in 1080p, something the PSP can't do.

Get over it, PS3 is just getting gimped stuff of what XBL had since day one.

....the PSP cant do 1080p no crap...but the PS3 can. They both use the XMB HELLLOOOO....level 1 :roll:  The XMB obstructs less of the Wallpaper than the Dashboard of the 360....

360 has had a lot of updates 2 it hasent had everything from the start. but really all these extra features are nice in the 360 and ps3.

I've been a supporter of XBL since day ONE good sir.  I see you aren't.  The only thing that limits you with  Silver is online play, and that's free on select weekends.

xbox 360 basically has all those features and you can use most of them on XBL SILVER, the only extra things in gold are:

They get demos before silver members and

they can play online.

Well I got a PS3. :| 

so I don't care if Xbox 360 dies after Halo 3 which it kind of does.  

Meh, it's got more after that. Alan Wake should be great (although I'll certainly be playing the PC version, I'm one of those nerdy hermits after all...)

But the whole 'first' thing with the Xbox 360 is an argument that only exists because Microsoft shafted the first machine with a terrible lifespan.
