Playstation 3 Exclusives vs Xbox 360 Exclusives (re-edited with no bad words)

My topic was locked because I inappropriately censored a word. Here is my post with no explicit language or name calling. I hope I don't get banned or anything for reposting.

Some things people need to realize:

First off, any game that's also on PC is NOT a 360 exclusive title.

The definition of exclusive means "not divided or shared with others."

So first I'll make a list of games for Ps3 exclusives and 360 "exclusives." (I'm using the titles that are well known, not Afrika or America's Army: True Soldier."

Ps3- 3D Dot Game Heroes, Demon's Souls, Disgaea 3, Folklore, God of War Collection, God of War III, Gran Turismo 5, Haze, Heavenly Sword, Heavy Rain, Infamous, Killzone 2, LittleBigPlanet, MAG, Metal Gear Solid 4, MLB 10: The Show, Modnation Racers, Motorstorm (all), Ninja Gaiden Sigma 1 and 2, Ratchet & Clank Future Tools, Resistance 1 and 2, Uncharted 1 and 2 and Valkyria Chronicles.

360- Alan Wake, Banjo Kazooie, Blue Dragon, Crackdown 1 and 2, Dead or Alive (all), Earth Defense Force 2017, Fable 2, Forza Motorsports 2 and 3, Fuzion Frenzy 2, Gears of War 2, Halo (3, ODST and Wars), Left 4 Dead 1 and 2, Lost Odyssey, Magna Carta II, Mass Effect 1 and 2, Ninety Nine Nights 1 and 2, Perfect Dark Zero, Saints Row and Too Human.

Now, let's get rid of the ones that are also on PC for either system.

PS3- Same as before

360- Alan Wake, Banjo Kazooie, Blue Dragon, Crackdown 1 and 2, Dead or Alive, Earth Defense Force, Fable 2, Forza 2 and 3, Fuzion Frenzy 2, all Halos, Lost Odyssey, Magna Carta, Ninety Nine Nights 1 and 2, Perfect Dark Zero, Saints Row and Too Human.

Now, let's get rid of the ones that have gotten below average reviews (on a scale of 1-10, let's say anything below 7). It will be based off Metacritic, meaning it takes the average score from as many reviews as it can and calculates the average and then an average based on people that played them but aren't payed for it and can't be payed to give biased opinions. I'm not posting them, so you can do a little research yourself

360- Alan Wake, Banjo, Blue Dragon, Crackdown 1, Dead or Alive (4 only), Earth Defense Force (bad critic score but good user score), Fable 2 (good critic score but terrible user score), Forza 2 and 3, Halo (3 has great critic score, average user score. ODST has above average critic, low average user score. Wars is the same as ODST), Magna Carta (Bad critc score, ok user score), Perfect Dark Zero, Saint's Row and Too Human (below average critic sore, low average score).

Through this, it can be seen that a majority of the people in the world believe that PS3s titles are better than 360s but that's not the point of this thread.

The point of this whole thing is just to give a demonstration on how to properly do an exclusive title and/or console war. The other big part is: you have to play ALL the games or own both the consoles.

Now, you're probably asking "Hey Man, what makes you so special?" I never once said that I was. But I do get tired however of the mega fan boys (and this I've noticed more from 360 but there are those on PS3) that refuse point blank to say anything good about Sony or Microsoft ( I know, I work with one at Gamestop. Never once played or owned a PS3 but never says anything good about it). But the worst thing of it is, most of those fanboys (I'll say 85%) have ever only owned that one system. Which means, when they go on a long-winded speal about how each of the systems or their games suck, their points and what they say should be immediatly regarded as moot and not worth mentioning in a well thought out discussion because they have no back up info or any data around the matter (given what the people or either company that they support say).

As for me? I can say that I own both the systems, I've played the games, I've chosen my side.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Some peope like games for games, while others (myself included) are incredibly passionate about games. But is someone's reasoning trustworthy if all they can do is go on a forum and say "PS3/360 suck! I've never had one but it's the truth."? It's like saying I hate a game just because I watched other people play it.

If people wanna do exclusive/system wars, do it properly. Own them and play them both. Then make an informed, credible response and share it with the world

Yea informed fanboys are alot more fun to argue with, uninformed fanboys make the same tired arguments especially concerning PC or generally are exposed rather quickly. General MLD was pretty good though, too bad he got banned. Saolin spammed a little too much but you could kinda tell he had a PS3 and he was funny.. now it's like they don't try :(

Okay, First off, to OP, I agree so much! I don't get involved tho. To Each His Own. I like PS3 more, but I've played a friends 360 (Basically we are like brothers and we play 360 and PS3 a lot) and I just prefer PS3. You can prefer 360, PS3, or PC if you want. Its your choice not mine.

and to the people who complain about a 'Wall of Text', I'm sorry buy really? Wow. I just find it horrible that you complain about 'Walls of Text', have you EVER read a book? or read a News Artical? They are all text. Thus "Walls of Text". I can't believe people have hit the all time low of not Reading because there is 'So Much Text' when really, that was a short easy read.

That's what one guy said to my first post TL;DR. I'm thinking "Long?! Don't you read books or articles of games in magazines?" Compared to what I usually write, this is a cake walk. I'm not 100 percent affiliated with the tools so spredsheets and stuff are new to me.

I disagree with the idea that you need to own both consoles in order to have an informed opinion. I own only a PS3, but my brother, brother-in-law, and several friends have or have had 360s. To act like one cannot have first hand knowledge of a system without owning it is a little silly.

I had a 360 and sold it to get PS3 because of the games. That being said, I've enjoyed many games on the 360 and I don't bash it.

As for me, I liked the PS3 better because of games, I don't care which one gets better multi-plats since most of the times I don't even notice the difference and besides, right now all my games are exclusive.

The only exclusive I can recall from the 360 that blew my mind was Mass Effect, the first one. Mass Effect 2 was one of the reasons I realized I needed a PS3.

So to me, it all comes down to games, not hardware power as every gen has proven.

this post wasn't nessacary, whatever you are trying to prove, it will never work since we live in a world that values opinions. I own both systems, and the PS3 has a worse library than the 360 overall.
