I miss arcades. Only games they have in the acrades anywhere close to where I live are those ones where there is a metal claw and you try to get a prize and stuff like that.

I personally think the console has a good variety of genres for what's been announced. MGSIV, GT5, FFXIII, GTAIV, Killzone, Little Big Planet, GOW3, Uncharted, Infamous, White Knight Story...nice mix.

I would say KZ is in the top 5, lots of people, including myself, have high hopes for the game.
Haze is probably not in the top 20 of most-anticipated PS3 games.

Where these high hopes are coming from is beyond me. Haze has a much better chance of being AAA than Killzone. Haze coming from an acclaimed group of developers who made up the original Rare team and made timespillters versus a series that completely flopped its first time around?

I have a local arcade by me, but most of the good games suck because they don't take care of them (Capcom vs. SNK 2 uses a HDTV screren without an upscaler so it looks hella pixely and it's on mute, KoF '98 is on mute permantely) and I've played the decent other games to death.
Still it was fun laughing at people who were hyping Time Crisis 4 cause I knew it sucked. ;)

The ratio of TOTAL shooter games is higher on the Playstation 3. This isn't really a discussion about exclusives, but the total number of games in relation to all genres. There is nothing selective about how this is calculated. Just take the total number of shooters and find out what percentage of the total library that is...
