Yesterday, I tried to buy a PS3 Slim off Amazon, but apparently, it wasn't in stock. Only third party resellers had it in stock, and they were offering the thing at grossly inflated prices (i.e., $70-$200 over the MSRP), so of course, I wasn't going to buy it from them. I checked other retailers and they didn't have it in stock either.
I later even went to a local Best Buy today to check if it's in stock, and the answer was, "No." Yet, I saw over forty Xbox 360's and Wiis sitting on the shelves.
Sad to say, I have already pre-ordered RDR already and I might not even have a console to play on when I get my hands on it May twenty-something-ish.
Is demand so great that Sony can't keep up with demand?
