Playstation 3 Or PC?

I need to make a decision. I can either get a ps3 or pc, I need to kno what people more experienced than me think, please take into account all factors

Price, Exclusivity, Game Price, Online play, Popularity etc.

Price of pc parts coming to about £700, Playstation is £250-400

Since you say PS3 is cheaper....

But if money doesn't matter, you should check the games for each system and see the ones you like or seem more appealing to you.

thanks but no thanks, If I was to build a comp i would need to BUILD, I cant simply upgrade every couple of weeks/a month, because im running on a reaaally abad system at the moment, so like, if i got a new cpu, id need a new motherboard first. If i got a new graphics card Id need a new mobo, if i got a new cpu, the case wouldnt have enough airflow becuz its rly rly tiny and it would blow everything up. So i have a bit of an upgrading problem here :(

And to other gy, yes I have a pc, but Im on a p4 1.8ghz and a 32mb gpu -_-

Game Price : PC Games are cheaper (this makes up for the higher price you paid for the PS3)

Only downside I see for a PC is that we you will have alots of games to buy which can be  a bit heavy on the pocket, where as PS3 has just a few games here and there

you can build a decent PC for less than 300 these days. PS3 sucks and it has only 1 good game coming out next year. But this years lineupw as awesome

the PC is hands down the winner, the ps3 is a good choice, but next to a good gaming rig it gets destroyed like chewie when the moon hit him

I use my PS3 more for gaming than my PC, mainly because I like my big TV and couch over sitting in my office and monitor. 

I use PC for strategy games and some FPS and PS3 for driving, sports, party games, platformers well everything else.

Hermits will say PC while cows will say PS3.

If you have a PC that can play WoW on high, you can play most PC games out there so get a PS3, if not, upgrade or buy a new PC.

of course how could i foget, we only play AAA exclusives from the current gen.  How could I be so blind, I mean screw playing more than 5 games a year or two.  Thank you, you have righted a terrible misconsception i had with gaming.

PC has more AAAEs this gen than PS3 and from more genres too 

anyway the simpliest way is to look at games from both platforms and write down those you want to play, the platform with longer list is the one you should buy. It's as simple as that.

But the problem is that I don't even have a TV! an HDTV!

If only I had a HDTV I'd have bought PS3 a year ago! but I don't have.

I can't just buy A TV for just to play games on console either.  My dad will get mad! T^T

I have a gaming PC and a PS3. I play more games on my PS3 simply because with PC gaming there are way too many issues. I got so tired of always having to update this download that just to play a damn game. Another thing that got old really quick is the amount of cheaters you encounter while PC gaming. Every popular PC online game is soon over run with cheesy a-holes that can't play without cheating. It just got soooo old, so buh-bye PC gaming as far as im conserned.PvtGump8

i can count the cheaters i have seen in TF2 sence launch day on one hand

same goes for CoD4, 2, and 1

Yah I know, in 2 years you will spend like 145 on a graphics card if yours is meh.  And pc games are cheaper than console games, considering that is what you invest in the most, games.

PS3 for me.

Price plays a huge factor, I couldn't justify spending that much on a computer. Plus I game with my friends/girlfriend a lot so PC gaming just wouldn't work for me.
