Actually your BEST choice is BOTH, but if you can't get both, then i can't really decide either. The ps3 have: Superior exclusives (here recently of course), Blu-ray capabilities, Free online multiplayer (although a bit inferior to XBL), Very familiar controller (they have kept the same design since PS1, with few changes), Best controller for 2-D fighters (if that's your thing, and not the best at FPS), 3rd party add-on compatible (with most of the accessories), Reliability (even thought the 360 is shaping up to be more reliable these days). The 360 have: Superior multiplats (most of the time, and really only superior by better resolution/framerate), Kinect (if you like it, M$ is pushing it harder than Sony's pushing move), XBLA games (in most cases, superior to the PSN games found on the ps3), Superior online service (although it comes at a 60$ annual price), Best controller for FPS games (but basically unplayable with 2-D fighters, due to the d-pad, and again, if that's your thing).
While i didn't put down everything, i tried to put down the most oustanding qualities of each system.
P.S. Alot of these pros are bases upon MY opinion.:)
