I know, apparently the 360 is easier to develop for so why aren't more developers jumping on board for exclusive engines and games? Like I said theoretical power is all great on paper but it's what you put into games that matters. People said the samething when everyone stated PS3 was more powerful but no games looked better than anything on the 360. Now the PS3 is starting to show its graphical prowress. Fact is until we see something on the 360 that can match KZ2, PS3 is the more powerful console.

the unreal engine 3.0 wasnt built ground up to run on xbox360 it wasnt built to use every feature 360's gpu supports and isnt optimised the best it could be...the engine doesnt take full advantage of every feature 360's cpu supports either.
the engine used to run like ass on 360 they finally got it running halfway decent.
the engine just wasnt built for 360 in mind.

banjo actually looks pretty damn good...if you play it i was kinda surprised and i played it on sdtv the demo.

The cell can help with the rendering.at the moment the graphics are pretty much equal, but if the PS3 continues making games that look as good or better than Killzone 2, then i'd say the PS3 will finih this gen with the better graphics

What circles you people talk in. THERE'S A LEARNING CURVE TO THE CONSOLES. MORE DEVS WORKING ON A PC SETUP EQUALS MORE KNOWLEDGE ON HOW TO USE IT. What constitutes the best graphics on a console? Some will claim the system that has the single best looking game is the best. Others will say the system that has the most games with graphics at the top of the scale (but may not have the #1 graphics game). is the better system . Look at last gen. It's pretty well accepted the xbox was graphics king. But gamecube and even the PS2 was known to put out a very very good looking game from time to time. In fact, some claim Gamecube had the best looking game lastgen. But no one really claims gamecube is the graphics king lastgen.
In otherwords lets' say it shakes out like this:
Console A has 1 fantastic looking game. So great that it is commonly refered to as the best looking game.
Console B has 20 games that look fantastic, but they all fall short of 1 game on Console A. However, all other console A games barely compare to anything on Console B (and multiplats are always better on Console B).

Its obvious that PS3 excluisve games will always look better then any 360 games out there..Sony got some kill first party games..I just expect it to get better!!

i have and played both games, and while i agree with you on gears 2 looking better than Uncharted, the graphical jump isn't grand at all, and (IMHO) it can be debated on which game looks better. I played gears 2 extensively on a 1080p 120Hz HDTV, and i can tell you from the videos i saw from the preview build of KZ2, Gears 2 looks to be taking a back seat in the visual departmentPlease Log In to post.
