@mowgly1: @HalcyonScarlet: Settle down, both of you! Now than, would you all like some Tea☕
@mowgly1: @hardwenzen:
You cows are so stupid. I just watched video. You were only looking at what was on screen, you weren't listening.
He NEVER said there was much performance difference between the Series X and PS5. He said both run at 60 fps with the occasional 1 frame dip with sometimes going into the low 50s. But BOTH suffer with 128 players, and a fix on BOTH, is to download the X1X and PS4 versions with only 64 player limits.
Also he NEVER said the Xbox dropped to 0 frames. That was frame times and that was for both consoles. He NEVER said the Xbox Series X performs worse.
You're purposefully misrepresenting what was being said. So desperate, SO sad.
Looks my magnum opus thread did a number on most lems on SW. Its not my fault 12tflops is not enough to compete sony's Engineering.🤷♂️Better luck next gen.

Dumbass, Xbox dumbass! Really! XSeries X does perform worse than PS5. PS5 in video drops to 57 at lowest and XSX version ( outside those OFTEN 0 fps spikes ) drops to 54. XSX version doers perform worse, it drops more oftenly. Cut the crap, Xbox fan with your SPIN!
You are MISREPRESENTING, you, Xbox fan, are SPINNING! As it is pointed out in the article :
Performance needs work in 128-player modes on all consoles but the biggest issue right now are the big frame-time stutters (which often become full pauses) which only seem to happen on Xbox Series X.
On PS5 and Series S these problems aren't too bad - there's generally a pretty solid 60fps with occasional dips. It's not ideal, but it's very playable and these problems are not a major impediment to the experience. At its lowest, we see readouts in the low to mid 50s during more intense gameplay. There's some occasional stutter on all consoles, though it seems worst on Series X: 50ms pauses occur regularly, although these can last for hundreds of milliseconds at worst.
So, XSX version is the worst of the current-gen consoles frame-rate wise, outside those 0 fps spikes which happens ONLY on XSX, it also drops fps more oftenly than PS5.

I've watched 4 times now. The following sentences, you just added in:
"which only seem to happen on Xbox Series X."
"though it seems worst on Series X"
YOU ARE SUCH A LIAR.
He never verbally and specifically calls out the Series X as performing worse than the PS5, NEVER, NOT ONCE. That's why his solution is to use the last gen version of the game on the Playstation 5 too. Because it suffers from the same issues.
How about you time stamp where he calls out the Series X so we can all watch it for ourselves.
You have no credibility with your constant lying. Well done, you've self owned in yet another thread.

this cow always spins. I never took this thread seriously from the start. It was a sad attempt to distract from the absolute thrashing that xbox gave playstation in tales of arise. Xbox made ps its bitch, showed them why 12 > 9.

STFU, Xbox spinner! Oliver Mackenzie did the video, Oliver Mackenzie wrote the article. Therefore, you can write more detailed stuff in the article, as he pointed it out. AGAIN, Xbox fan :

And you called me a liar. Even you spinned that. What an idiot Xbox being! Go watch video 50 times if you want. Results will be the same. XSX drops lower, framerate wise it performs worse than PS5. Mentioned in the article. Your problem if you want to ignore the article which is directly connected with the analysis made by same author
this cow always spins. I never took this thread seriously from the start. It was a sad attempt to distract from the absolute thrashing that xbox gave playstation in tales of arise. Xbox made ps its bitch, showed them why 12 > 9.
Looks who is spinning, Xbox fan. Calling a PS5 a 9TF console, yet it beated XSX in numerous games. Hello, Hello The Tourist in 8K on PS5, while poor XSX can't push 8k in that simple game. Btw. check the list and you should run away. Now BF 2042 will be added to the list soon.
@mowgly1: If they are addressing it, it is a software bug, not a hardware issue, negating the the theme of the TC that the PS5 is somehow a superior platform.
I've said outside those 0 fps spikes, XSX is performing worse. And it is pointed out in the article.
@mowgly1: almost all those ps wins have turned into xbox wins after updates. That's how it I'd, don't expect the world from a 9tflop machine.
@mowgly1: almost all those ps wins have turned into xbox wins after updates. That's how it I'd, don't expect the world from a 9tflop machine.
You think that PS5 didn't have the updates too? Sure bud. Dirt 5 for example is still performing worse on XSX after the updates. 9TFLOP ( like you said ) FTW.

I really don't care what you've said, I care what DICE and DF have said. They seem to say this is all software related, aka "bugs".
The comment "XSX is more powerful than PS5" is still holding true here.

But DF said XSX is performing worse in the article. Also in the video XSX drops lower than a PS5 and more oftenly. LOL I've mentioned outside the spikes of 0 fps.

One more time, I really don't care what you've said, I care what DICE and DF have said.
It's all bugs that they are working on. A bug is not an indicator of hardware performance, it is a software issue. Therefore, like I have already said, the comment "XSX is more powerful than PS5" is not being challenged here.

But of course, as you mentioned....the toolz. The XSX toolz will fix everything. Even the Xbox fans brains

Sigh. Yes, DF said that in a few instances, the XSX suffers from:
"Performance needs work in 128-player modes on all consoles but the biggest issue right now are the big frame-time stutters (which often become full pauses) which only seem to happen on Xbox Series X."
But, it maintains a higher resolution overall... skipped that part of the video, huh?
Again, for the 2nd time, DICE is working on a patch for this - that means (for the cheap seats) THIS IS A SOFTWARE PROBLEM.
You are fighting a losing fight here, bro. If it were hardware, it would be unfixable.

Looks like you deliberately IGNORED the other part of the article, where he mentioned that PS5 and XSS have the occasional dips, but the worst is the XSS, alongside with stutter. Also it is very well showed in the video that XSX have fps drops from 60 more oftenly ( outside of 0 fps spikes ) and lower. But your problem if you want to ignore it. But don't worry, XSX toolz will FIX everything, even the your ignorance.

It only counts for XSX that is software issue when it performing worse than PS5 framerate wise, but regarding PS5, oh no, it is a hardware problem. PS5 is 9TF console.
@hardwenzen: I assumed that would be the only way to make him read my comment.
Case in point, he replied that it is MY opinion it's a software issue.
How many times must I repost what DICE, the folks that wrote the game, are saying? 10? 20? 100? How many times to I have to make tbe same post?
@mowgly1: Are you kidding me? I must be getting punked, because no rational person could be this dense.
Bro - Infiniti Ward came out and said the Xbox One version of CoD was 720p because they could not get it to run at 1080p with 60fps on that hardware. But, they could on the PS4. That was proof of the PS4 hardware superiority.
That is not happening here - DICE has admitted ot is a software issue.
I can not make this any clearer to you. If you do t get it, I'm chalking this up to stupidity on your part.
@bryank75: don't need to. Considering the Series S doesn't have these issues, it's an obvious bug that will be dealt with soon.
All Battlefield games are buggy at launch.

Sure bud! Because Infinity Ward said a month before PS4 and Xbone launch that PS4 version will be a 1080p :

DICE said that BF2042 will be a 60fps on PS5 and XSX. And guess what. XSX version has more framerate dips. 0 fps spikes is a bug. But of course, you, Xboxy fan you'll use an excuse when XSX perform worse. Tooolz

So, fps dips ( outside 0 fps spikes ) is a hardware issue on XSX because it has more frequently framerate dips into 50s than PS5.
Like i've said, excuses, Xbox fan, Excuses!!!!

Accept that PS5 ( as you Xbox fans said "9 TF console" ) will sometimes perform better than stronger XSX and move on. Stop living in Xbox fantasy land and go back to reality.
ok guys, we have gotten to the point where nobody is going to back down regardless of evidence or lack there of....
I doubt it. Sorry, but the 3 tflop difference is too much. Tales of arise proved that once and for all.
Also, man dirt 5 is one ugly looking game. I compare it to forza5 and it just disgusting / terrible, looks like its made for last gen xbox one / ps4. Its a shame these talentless developers couldn't get dirt 5 looking and performing better on a machine that has 3tflop more right from the beginning.

Ignoring the crappy XSS with 4 TFLOPS i see. Ignorance is a bliss.
I doubt it. Sorry, but the 3 tflop difference is too much. Tales of arise proved that once and for all.
LOL. Hello The Tourist at 8k, when almighty XSX can't push it above 6.

the tourist lol..I had to youtube what the heck this game was, and I find out its a minecraft knock off. Its a game that was originally on xbox one, then they didn't do any changes for the series x. But for the ps5 they rebuilt the game from scratch.
what about the series s?
@bryank75: I don't believe that. But clearly it is in this case. Its well known that these games are usually buggy at launch.
Logic backs that up on this case. The Series S and X have extremely close architecture. So it wouldn't make sense for the Series X to perform worse.
It's petty that you guys are clinging to software bugs. I'd be embarrassed to use software bugs against PlayStation.

They did changes for XSX, since it is a native game on XSX. Not a BC game. Soon you accept that 3TF less console will sometimes perform better than a stronger one, the better for your brain or always your excuse will be a developer lazyness.
@mowgly1: what lies by a cow as usual. The game was built for xbox one, switch and pc. Then in 2020 they made an "enhanced" version for series x. This doesn't mean much, just keep everything the same, upgrade the textures and resolution, and done. It is a quick and dirty patch update. Even with this, the game easily hit 6k resolution on the series x. The game was built from ground up on the ps5 in 2021 September which is much different story.

Enchanced, which is a native XSX version. You easily check it. It was built with newest GDK. It does mean much. But keep ignoring it. Same as PS5 version is enhanced too. But hey, PS5 is at 8k, poor XSX isn't. As devs pointed it out : higher clock speed and memory layout are reason for that. Poor fully and only RDNA 2 52 CUs and higher bandwidth in XSX can't handle that.
