Those games score well most places because they are good games.

Their staff might be those less impressed with substance and more impressed with "OOO SHINY".

halo odst got a 9 on here i mean come on that barely qualifies for a legit stand alone game and is 83 on metacritic. after that got a 9 im not surprised halo 4 got a 9 and that game is straight trash

Playstation loyalists have always been jealous of Halo (I would know seeing as I grew up around them and they begged me to let them play Halo 2 online around my house). If that magazine can honestly give Destiny a perfect score then they should buy the MCC when it comes out so they can experience what they missed. I still cannot believe that Destiny is worse than Halo Reach

It's an excellent game, so it imho it deserves a good score

@PAL360: A 5 or a 6 isn't a bad game. A 6 is a 'fair' game, which by all accounts, is all that Destiny is.

That's exactly how i see it. 6 = fair, 7 = good, 8 = great, 9 = amazing, 10 = masterpiece. Very few games deserve 9 or 10, in my opinion, and that's not because they are bad games.

Destiny is a good game. It failed to meet many/most it's promises, but it's fun as hell gameplay wise. I would give it a 7.5, but no way this game deserves a 5 or a 10.
