Well I think Playstation Move may have proved itself with the new tech demo.

Link here if anyone wants to see.

Don't know if Natal can do this, but I guess Sony thought of it first in one night. But it has a thing called buttons which helps bring in and take away objects. :D

I don't see why Natal wouldn't be able to do this, considering that it would be rather geared towards interacting with non-existant (in real-life) objects in a 3D plane -- plus you wouldn't need to be carrying around two move controllers to do so.

Seems cool. Basically, it's down to developers to come up with good use of the tech ...

To do this we would need two wii..er...move wands right? Is that going to cost $100 each or will they have some kind of package with two wands? It seems like quite a bit of what they show in demos requires two of the balled sticks. Some of the stuff does look interesting though.

Okay, that is the first cool thing I've seen from Move. Now I'm semi-excited for it.

I wonder why they didn't make the one with the analog stick also have a glowing ball?

Yeah noticed that too :D

Anyways, it looks nice, hopefully someone will make a good RTS or adventure game with this. This could definatly open up some crazy posibilities since the PS3 is much more powerfull then the Wii, and Sony has exelent first party and supports them well.

And the flashlight comment got me thinking, with this they could make some cool horror games :D

My mind was blown away...seriously, that was very impressive...I always thought that NATAL and the PSmove were basically gimmicks, and i wasnt interested in the PSmove particularly, but after watching the video demonstration, im excited to see what SONY 1st party could do with that :)

Seriously? Do you think that's running on PS3 hardware? If so, I'm impressed - processing a live feed of a video and rendering it back on the screen, with dynamic distortion? Pretty awesome stuff. I think Natal could be capable of this kind of thing, but it would necessarily be as easy to control due to its lack of buttons...

As your Thread title show, clearly Phillip K. Dick thought of it first and probably someone before him. Still cool though. Would be good to see it implemented in a game.
