Didn't put out an expensive product and not support it? Is that worse than MS?The great thing here is: Sony's not pushing Move in our throats.

thats because they can't afford to, if they could they would and quite frankly if they had the money they should, agressive marketing does help to sell units, it's a good business move and they are a business. The great thing here is: Sony's not pushing Move in our throats.

It's just a profit-making additional revenue stream. Ergo, good, I guess.
Sucks for the people who bought it and are stuck with sh*tty budget party games to play. But then you should have known what you were getting into.

We haven't seen -
Twisted Metal: Move
God of War IV: Move
Last of Us: Move
haven't we?
I prefer Sony don't touch them unless they're well integrated and not forced.
Or... It could mean they see it as "Crap we must try harder to get a better grip on the casual market! All focus on Move!".[QUOTE="JohnF111"][QUOTE="Wasdie"]
Not terrible but not a huge success.
This is actually good news for us gamers. This means that they won't be focusing on motion controls for their next console.

^This. By the end of this generation and Move failing. SONY can be like "Let's focus more on Motion Controls and the casual market''.
Then Next-Gen we'll have SONY do more of Move 2.0 and we're all screwed.
Or make less exclusives so as to turn more profit from that piece of the pie. Commit less capital to exclusives, can move, and be massive with multiplats. That's a way to be in the black, business wise. The best thing for gamers is a company in the black. That means they arent going anywhere.Didn't put out an expensive product and not support it? I bought a bundle when I was able to get it almost half off at gamestop and honestly, I don't see a difference form this to wii. Its not a big surprise it isn't selling as well. I do get some entertainment from how sony tries to make their sales sound good with any illusion that they can. "We are very impressed with Vita sales, its better than anticipated" (while it sells terribly in its home country, and only did decent in the rest of the world) and "We have shipped 10 million move!" (while shipped does not equal sold and when we say 10 million we count each component in that number so if you look at actual sets of controllers its is at least half that number). Sony is really good at one thing, putting a different spin on what could be bad news and make it sound like good news.
Well they pushed it pretty hard at first but then just stopped doing anything with it. I feel bad for the Sony fans that got suckered into buying it from Sony. Those people spent all that money after buying into Sony's hype and then Sony just goes naw we changed our mind but thanks for buying our product you will not be able to really use.The great thing here is: Sony's not pushing Move in our throats.

Close to 60 million in Sales (if not more) and 10.5 million (including separate purchases). Not necessarily bad, but not good either.. This one would've been thrown in the trash bin if not for the success of the Kinect.

It's actually horrible.
10.5 million have been on store shelves and distributor inventories.
It doesn't mean that 10.5 million units are in people's homes.
And out of that 10.5 million, consider that one complete Move unit basically means 3 units have to be shipped.
So in reality, only 3.5 million complete Move units have been shipped, while 18 million complete Kinect units have been shipped.
That's a huge difference.
I guess that is bad.. :?Horrible if you ask me. SONY should plan on actually retiring the Move.
