Playstation Move's launch was abysmal!

What was Sony thinking? Releasing nothing but terrible games which only further shows how useless the Move really is. I mean come on....

Oh Wow! A 7.5. A somewhat decent game according to Gamespot. IGN gave it a 6.0. Still a terrible launch of games.

i'm more of a PC gamer than anything- but honestly I think as far as sales go Kinect is going to do very well... for example, my girlfriend (VERY casual gamer) is extremely hyped for Kinect, but doesn't really care about the PS Move... also just the "controller-less" design will appeal to anyone who is intimidated by gadgets (heh)... anyway, I think its gonna be a huge hit with casuals- whereas I see the PS Move as more of a Wii 2.0

you don't? casuals were all hyped up for Wii because it looked "new and fun".... Kinect will do very well imo. i believe PS move is a bit too similar to Wii to catch on

Depends on what you mean. The launch lineup will be just as crappy. Sales-wise, though, Kinect will obliterate move.

People are taking this way to personal. The sad fact is, the Playstation Move's Launch was abysmal. Many gamers (atleast that I know of, and from comments I've read) didn't even know it had laucnhed until sites mentioned it. The Launch lineup was slightly weak too.

HOWEVER, I think theres a reason for this. Sony simply wanted to get Move out fast, and the hardware and a good amount of titles were ready. So far, a lot of the stuff out is casual stuff, but I think next year and the year after, we'll see a lot better titles. Move, like the Wii, has a lot of potential.

(Personally however, Motion Controls don't interest me. Kinect slightly does, but I don't think its technically at the level were I'll enjoy it/want it. I'm satisfied with normal gaming controls.)

First let me say right now I have no interest in motion control. With that being said Sony already had the most of the tech to do motion control but game development takes time. Down the road I'm sure some great games will come out that may change my mind as well as alot of others. And kinect will be the same it's game line up is pretty sad as well at least nothing I want (personal opinion) some people may like them. I saying given time both will probably be good

It might not be as crazy as claiming R3 isn't coming out the day the trailer releases or saying Wii graphics are great, but I'll be damned if I don't have this as my sig when Kinect sports releases to abysmal scores.
