That's because PSN users use their multiple accounts to flood polls like these....
That's quite an awesome power you have there.

xbox live is better than psn BUT only at having extra features ,dlc and early demos
when it comes to ACTUAL ONLINE GAMEPLAY they are BOTH the SAME
i tested multiplats on both xbox live and psn and guess what they both play the same
i dont see nothing wrong for those that want to pay for features but by no means does that xboxl live fee improve lag or online gameplay thats ur isp's job
i would rather pay the extra $3 a month to improve my isp speed than get features i dont even use so i a guess i must be a rare gamer that dont care bout nothing but actual online gameplay
This poll has confirmed we are now in Cowspot. The only way PSN could be leading a poll like this is in a Cow rich enviroment. XBOX Live is so much better it's not even fair and if this poll were in the real world it would show much different results.
Cross game invites are cool for online gaming but who talks to a friend during a movie or listening to music, so why mention that?????Tjeremiah1988I hate those noisy 13 year olds always talking and laughing at the movie theater. They ruin the experience for everybody else. I always think that they are the same idiots who ruin the experience for gamers by going on and on with their dumbness during online games. These are the kind of people I think are more interested in the featiures provided by online gaming. Teens with nothing better to do than to be as annoying as they possibly can.

What does cross game chat and invites have to do with playing online with randoms?
If I'm watching a movie, and a friend, maybe a clanmate wants to skirmish or have an impromptu match, invites are really handy. I just need to accept, insert the disc (if necessary) and I'm automatically brought into his session.
For instances where muting and blocking aren't enough to handle the problematic randoms, XBL has a very active, visible and accessible moderation team.

Well if I'm watching a movie, I want to watch it till the end, so I don't want to be disturbed by friends that want to play a game.
And I don't see in which cases muting and blocking wouldn't suffice.
Even though cross game chat is a nice feature, it alone does not warrant a 50 buck per year fee.

Whether or not XBL is "worth" the subscription fee, its undeniable that its still the better service than PSN. Compare them side by side, XBL just offers more and does things better.[QUOTE="NielsNL"][QUOTE="VoodooHak"]

XBL edges out PSN due to it having cross game chat and more content. But whether or not something is free should be taken into consideration when comparing products or services. Price-quality ratio wise (I know, I know, if the price is zero bucks you can't speak of a price quality ratio, but you catch my drift) I'd say they are close enough in features and contentto give it to PSN if that's free and XBL isn't.

to all those who say PSN is better than live because its free. do you buy your trousers or do you get them free from a charity shop.
free does not equall better FACT
wayne_kar
Trousers does not equal online service FACT
Well at least its better than that "free food on the floor" anology that someone here on gs used

I already pay for online to my ISP. If somebody was charging me to use my trousers after i bought them I'll be pissed!
Well for me the reason why Live is better is because of the slow server whats the point of having dedicated servers if it takes 15 years to get an update and that is all games that have their updates on the psn. and also why do background downloads stop while i am watching a movie that is really annoying.

just because you pay for your ISP that doesn't entitle you to the whole internet for free. if a premium service is offered their will be a charge involve.[QUOTE="VoodooHak"]

That alone, of course not....which is why I listed my other reasons several posts back.

Yea but I at least get basic services something Live makes you pay for as well.as an owner of both consoles, XBL is soooo much better its not even funny. On paper, they look similar, but XBL is implemented much better. lhughey
Exactly. On paper, lots of things Sony does is great. But when it comes to putting it out in the real world, they show that they just don't get it.

sweet i might get live for a month till U2 lands and socom is Way better than it was but it'll still make u wanna throw sumthing...lol its like 20 used and 29 new
Anyone voting PSN has to be crazy. I will admit that I like some things about the service better, such as using actual prices instead of points, but damn.. I play Gears a bunch with a few friends of mine, and two of us decided to mix it up and get Killzone 2 to play online, and, well.... the experience is a freakin joke.
Let's just leave it at this. If you have to leave your Xbox on while playing your PS3 so you can easily talk to your friends, you know something is wrong.
