Yep, GwG jumped from the top of the cage and leg dropped PS+ through the ring once again. Not only GwG get 2 full retail games they get a couple more with the convenience of being playable on One console. That's not even including the Free Play Days games that's becoming the norm at no extra charge. I think it's time to realize PS+ is only really good for playing online and the games they offer are just fillers. People gotta stop hoping PS+ will offer the same amount and quality of full retail games offered by the competition. #GreatmessAwaits

Sony doesn't try with PS+ anymore. Outside of Rocket League and NBA 2K16 it has been garbage this gen.

BS dude. Just because you haven't heard of some of these games, it doesn't mean they're filler. I remember getting Chariot and Volgarr the Viking a few years back with GWG and everyone said it was a trash month. I played Volgarr for 20 hours and loved every second of it. Chariot is one of the best co-op games I've played in my life.

Multiplayer.

Only worthwhile titles there are patapon 3 and Yakuza 5. The PS4 lineup is mediocre.

They barely have that? MS offers dedicated servers for both public and private online matches and games for gold is just better. Its sad watching the PS4 crowd believe Sony is great just because they released better hardware then MS. Playstation fans got shafted and all that greatness awaits bullshit Sony said never materialised.

Shut up. Playstation offers incredible single player exclusives unlike Xbone that only has Halo 5 multiplayer and god awful campaign story + teamate ai.

LOL, I was being sarcastic. These "i got these games free on PSN" are just funny. How is something free when you're paying for the service? It's like saying you get to stream movies on NetFlix for free and all you have to do is pay a fee. The games aren't free and you don't get to keep them if you cancel your sub.

Rainbow Six Siege is free to play this weekend thanks to Free Play Days on Xbox One. Maybe it will be available free to play on PS4 some day too.

Honestly Yakuza 5 is a better game than everything that's been put on any subscription this year.

5 on the other hand is considered a very good one in the series.

There is always tons of content, really solid beat em up action combat that gives challenge, epic stories, a lot of the characters are exceptional/memorable, it has godly cutscenes like an mgs game (Though still tons of gameplay), and overall it's just an amazing experience with a badass main cast.

Honestly look above for the video and that's yakuza 1-4 tribute, not 5.

Let's just say that you fist fight a pair of tigers in yakuza 2.

It's pretty much the most impressive game series that hasn't hit it off in the western market.

Understand i'm not saying the game is bad, I'm just saying it's your opinion on how great the PSN releases are this month in relation to other services.

I played one of those Yakuza demos and it was generic and boring.

I'd recommend none of those games. You guys only have so many years to live. Enjoy them!

Yakuza 5 and Patapon 3 are well worth it.

Seriously, even if you took out the great gameplay (which btw evolves action brawlers when it's all but an otherwise dead combat style, so generic?) of combat, the epic story, the very interesting characters, you are still left with some of the least generic stuff ever with side content.

For example, you go into the underground and suddenly a mad scientist is there who lets you pay (in game currency) to play a 2.5d (or whatever it's called when you are 2d fighting like a street fighter but you can strafe around like dead or alive (or whatever it's called) ) fighter, you fight against the enemies you fought in the game who each have unique ways to defeat them.

Then you head over to the arcade and play a custom game that is honestly far too good to be only a small game in yakuza.

Then you head over to the hostess club and the game turns into a soft dialogue tree rpg and each girl branches off it's a new mini story.

You walk around town and see a picture you take which involves a drunk man with a tie on his head yelling at a girl being rude to a girl before both charging at each other and the tie guy gets his tie caught in the automatic door, which flings his legs up to knock both out. Then your character all of a sudden decides to carve a statue in inspiration from this and learns a new special move vaguely related to it.

Then you head over to a dojo where the game turns into a dojo management sim where you train your students carefully and watch them take stronger and stronger tournaments as you improve their stats.

Then you head over and read long explanations of food and alcohol, as you walk out you get caught by someone, you're playing as akiyama and so the damn bartender comes out and fights with you versus yakuza.

Then you head over to play some batting cages, darts, pool, and some damn rythm game that is literally far too good to just be a mini game in a game.

Then you spend a half hour driving a taxi around.

Then you continue the story to fight a crazy yakuza who are charging at you in a sewer on a damn motorcycle full blaast.

Then you literally fist fight a bear that is in itself the goku of the bear world.

If any of the above seems "generic and boring", I'm sorry you didn't get cod ghosts.
