PLAYSTATION Store V.S. XBOX LIVE Marketplace... [POLL]

PLAYSTATION Store
Good: Download speeds are...meh, Download sizes are very small (Around 500mb) You can downlaod psp games, nice layout.
Bad: Not a very big selection, you cant do anything else while downloading, once you cancel the download doesn't carry on where you left off.

XBOX LIVE Marketplace
Good: HUGE demo/trailer selection, download movies, TV shows, gamerpictures, themes, very quick download speeds, you can do other things while downloading (watch movie, play games) you can monitor the download percent from the guide button, you can carry off almost exactly where a download left off.
Bad: Download size for demos is huge (800-1,200mb) Some items overpriced, paying a dollar for a stupid gamer picture, very few movie companies support video marketplace leaving videos on there like "An Inconvenient Truth."

Wii marketplace?
Good: You can download classic arcade games... Weather/NEWS channel... Create a Mii???
Bad: But they are VERY overpriced, downloads are long for larger items, no demos, no trailers, web browser is a joke, the Mii's look retarded, nothing to offer outside of classic games.
(In my opinion the Wii marketplace is a complete joke and is no comparison.)

Crackdown demo only took me 35 minutes to download. I don't seem to have the problem. The demo is 1.2 gigs though...so it's going to take longer than most demos. I've never had demo go over that though. Maybe my connection is just better than most I suppose.

XBLM is better, because it's free on Silver accounts and anyone can use it. Though it's better, but I also find it bad because of microtransactions.... :xyoshi_64

so dont buy microtransactions. the only ones that i want really are the oblivion ones: They already gave me Mehrunes Razor (it was free for a time) and im sure the new ones will come out soon. - im going to get the points through promotions- the most revent one, which will continue in this trend has 3 levels- 0-4999, 5000-9999, and 10,000+. Level  in this promotion gives you contra, a free gamerpic, and a free theme. Level 2 gives you level 1 plus a t-shirt and 100MS points. Level 3 gives yu Level 1/2 plus 100 additional MS points and Fuzion Frenzy 2 (full game). All you have to do is gain 1500 points between the 12th and april 12th(which is easy if you borrow games from your friends or rent)

Both stores are utterly horrible and need improvement. Load speeds, ease of use, better layout etc. They want to charge for a service then they need to make it worth paying for.Rattlesnake_8
