Playstation users get massive exclusive treatment

In exciting news, full of excitement, Konami have announced only Sony users exclusivity, will have the piss taken out of them.

Konami has announced a free-to-play version of football game PES 2016.

It's exclusive to the PlayStation 4 and PS3.

F2P PES 2016 launches on 8th December. It's described as an "entry level" version of the game, and includes Exhibition Mode and seven teams, such as Bayern Munich, Juventus, AS Roma, Brazil and France.

Also available is the full Training section and the micro-transaction-fuelled myClub feature. Online and offline play is available.

Konami added that the F2P version of PES 2016 will benefit from all future updates for the main version.

PES is better than FIFA as many have admitted. Also, either way, Football is LIFE for the rest of the world, only America doesn't care. It's a great strategy by Sony.

@uninspiredcup: Could care less and I own a PS4. I would never play a PES game, whether it was FREE or not. Konami continues to slap their fans in the face. I pretty much stopped buying their games.

It's football not soccer. I love football and hate football games, weird I know. But it's football. American 'football' where you hardly ever use your feet I don't know what to tell them except there's a reason it's called 'foot'ball and you didn't get that reason.

Only the stupid ones get milked, they are just going for the platform with the biggest numbers, especially with a football game, not really surprising.

When I read Konami, I was expecting some free-to-play pachinko game.

Futbol is pretty boring. Only time I watch it is when there isn't anything else on and the US team is playing. NFL Football is much more exciting, with more hard hitting action. It's called "Football" because the game is played with a "Football". lol!! Same reason for "baseball, soccer, basketball, golf, etc.." Pretty smart if you ask me. I would actually rather watch Rugby then Futbol.

Football (what AMericans call soccer) is a global sport and it's actually just as complex as what americans call football (also, it's not futbol, futbol is just what the spanish call it). American football games sell well but no one talks about them besides american football fanatics.

You don't see people just waiting for the next sequel of a sports game in a series come out unless it's mario or Sony characters in the game.

@shadowchronicle: Well I don't know what you mean by no one waiting for next sports game to come out because I have multiple friends that are chomping at the bit as time gets close to a new NHL, NBA, Fifa, MADDEN each year.

And COD sells well but nobody really cares but COD fans so don't really get that point either.
