Please tell me why PS3 is praised when 360 offers a better GAMING experience

well i have both the 360 and ps3 and i feel the ps3 has offered me the better gaming experience...but hey you live in the US i live in Asia so i guess gamers here and there are accustomed to what console is more dominant in their region

Why shouldn't it be praised?  Despite the screw-up job that was its release, PS3 is finally starting to get its legs and do some running.  Better yet, why the hell am I replying to your post when you got the banhammer today anyway?

Ill keep this simple. All this is directly available on gamespot.

- 360 has more then 200 games released NOW compared to PS3 (quantity)

- 360 has more A, AA, and AAA. Exclusive or multiplat, many games here cant be found on PS3 (quality)

- On the downloadable front, the combined weight of XBLA and now Community games completely dwarfs the PSN offerings. Also many more A, AA, and AA then PSN here.

- 360 has a more feature-rich online network. Features like Live Party only widen the gap.

- For multiplats, you can play them on 360 for half the price and upgrade accessories at your leisure.

- 360 gets games first (RB 2, Last Remant being recent examples) and better multiplats like Baja (A), NFS:Undercover (A), and Fallout 3 (AAA) for recent 08 examples. Plenty more in 07 and 06.

Personally I think PS3 is praised from people who loved their PS2 and refuse to believe the times are changing.

a BETTER gaming experience is completely subjective. If people like the games on the PS3 REGARDLESS of what game critics say, then they'll praise the PS3 if people like the 360 games, then they'll praise the 360. If people like the games on the wii they'll praise the Wii. A score is a number that is a good reference to check but it does not completely determine if the gamer will like the game or not.

Well, judging by history, he'll be back.  Not sure of how long he was gone for, but this was his third account.  Ghost, something else, then the General.  Unless they ban his IP the prophet shall return.  I don't know why people take him so seriously though, I get a kick out of his posts as long as you know he's joking.

Some of the people just are still buying into the power of the cell hype and Blu-Ray hype after all these years even though it has been proven to be just empty words. Some do not understand last gen does not = this gen Thankfully most people are not like that and the PS3 sales show it. Some and I believe the smallest number of the 3 I mention just prefer paying for the most expensive console just for a couple exclusive games.Eltroz

personally i think it would have been strange if the PS3 wasnt praised after such a good gaming year it had (2008).... anyways i got both PS3 & 360 and tbh both are great gaming consoles... i got a PS3 first and if i didnt bump into a really good offer probably i wouldnt have got a 360... but having both is great since you get to enjoy exclusives and also have a larger selection of titles to choose from..
