Nevertheless, Pokémon X & Y is the finest expression of Satoshi Tajiri's obsessive vision yet. The transition to 3D is smooth and natural and the multitudinous additions to the proven formula will excite even the most jaded Pokémon fanatic. Meanwhile, the kernel of Pokémon's appeal - filling every blank in that collection, catching 'em all - remains resolutely undiminished after all this time. For the young, the game is a soothing promise that, if you work hard, concentrate and look after others, victory and success will be yours. For the young at heart it's a warm reminder of the childlike thrills of discovery, compilation and care.

I've decided that they'll give it a 7. It's so easy to predict GS scores. They love to be on the lower end of the score spectrum to attract hits.

Tbh IGN is the best site when it comes to reviews, if they say a game is worth 9/10 then the game is really good! if IGN loved it then im positive its an amazing game so cannot wait!

sadly GS users see IGN as nothing but a site that gives 9's like cakes, its not their fault they are gamers who enjoy good games unlike GS.

Talked to mah boy McShea. Told him 10 would be a bigger shitstorm than a 6 or 7. He didn't agree but he did nod slowly and look very thoughtful :Plocopatho

Would definitely secure them a villa in the Bahamas, for sure. 

But i doubt they'd want to quit being the 'Underrater', they sure as hell made that clear.

It doesn't? I'm pretty sure 3D contributed to the price I payed for my 3DS, so yes, I expect it to be utilized well or else why the hell was it included in the first place. They could have left it out and came out with a better price. I expect to see some innovative gamepad usage as well, why? It was one of the advertised features and contributed to the price I payed. Same thing with Kinect and the Xbox One, Backpad on the Vita. Touchpad on the DS4 etc.. and so forth.

I wasn't planning to but I think I might buy this today.

Are those 1st party games? Nope, didn't think so. Gravity Rush, Killzone, Little Big Planet, Soul Sacrifice etc... and so forth that come from Sony do utilized those features. Neither Sony, Nintendo, nor Microsoft control 3rd Parties. It is their job however to make sure if a game can utilize a feature well it does. Putting full 3D in Pokemon isn't a monumental task or would ruin the game
