Of course it can be countered easily...if you have a magic counter trap or a monster with similar abilities. However, there are plenty of cards that can completely screw over the opponent with monster reborn. Bringing out Jinzo, using Heavy Storm/Harpie Feather Duster/Giant Trunade, faking with another magic card...I can go on and on. Pro players never use the card when it can be easily countered. Instead, they can effortly play it when the situation suits them. However, the card was essentially abused as an "I win" card. You know how many combos are found within that card?

Hell, one of my favorite combos back when I was running warriors was saccing Exile Force two times, effectively clearing the field of any monster while zerging with the rest of my warriors (Maurading Captain + Goblin Attack Force > All). To balance that, you really need to punish the player so that such a move can be risky instead of being a free win.

To play it safe, I'll just insert a picture of kittens.

Hanheld pokemon games, are the worst ever, the first ones were great, but after 10000 colors it got boring and repetitive nothing changed everything was the same excpect a few pokemon that were added.haris12121212

Pokemon was VERY late in the life of the Gameboy, the Pokemon TV Show is an abomination upon the face of anime, and the card game is pretty much Magic for dummies. Tetris started up the Gameboy, not Pokemon. Megaman, Castlevania, Final Fantasy, and many others all came well before it. Magic the Gathering kick-started the TCG scene and continues to be the market leader based upon player base. Dragonball Z is bigger than Pokemon in anime, as are Yugi-Oh, and a few others. Serious anime fans don't care for it, they prefer Princess Mononoke and Akira by a mile. Pokemon is a quality franchise but its gotten extremely stale for me and its most definitely NOT the best RPG franchise out there (if you can even call it that) its just the most accessible.Runningflame570

A few problems with your statements:
