Both on its hardest level, R1 AI seems better to me.

Come on, cows. When was the last time you played a game that wasn't 50 player one-hit-kill? How about the last time you played the overpriced downloadable maps that you bought? Resistance is severely over rated.

Gears=Fantastic TPS and probably my favourite game of 2006.

Still though from the latest vids shown by Insomniac, they really done a great job and seems like R2 will address all small flaws R1 had... also visually am quite impressed with both games..

But I paid for my PS3 and my copy of Resistance :o

For the record, I barely ever get lag on XBL. I'm in a secluded and unspoiled area of Wales that doesn't even have Freesat yet with an AOL broadband connection running through dated telephone lines and I barely get anything in the way of lag at all.

By asking me such a thing does that mean you're admitting that Resistance is a lously online shooter with a pants community and the downloadable maps are quite litterality daylight robbery?

no it just means that you didnt like the game.... it doesnt mean its a lousy or mediocre online shooter... i experienced lag only a few rare times (and spent months playing online).... Resistance was great online, its just you didnt like it, thats all...

Both games are well worth the purchase and ill be buying both games on there launch dates but I am more hyped for Resistance just for the fact that we get to take down godzilla's cousin, lol.

no it just means that you didnt like the game.... it doesnt mean its a lousy or mediocre online shooter... i experienced lag only a few rare times (and spent months playing online).... Resistance was great online, its just you didnt like it, thats all...

Fair doos, it has potential to be a great game. It's just that so far I barely ever got into any decent ranked games and the only ones available are all unranked and are all one-hit-kill game varients. I'm yet to actually play any games that use the downloadble maps either. They were overpriced to begin with, but the fact that nobody ever plays them is just annoyin as hell :evil:

I liked R1, and the minor flaws were not concerned to graphics... it was about the gameplay which i would have prefared (better AI), and maybe it could have been faster..... still though it was the first game i played along Motorstorm (both included in the bundle) and i kept playing online for months...

Still though geow1 had a solid gameplay, but as its with every game released, there can always be room for improvements on sequels...

Models maybe but thats only because of texture again,R1 has better lighting IMO as it has a flashlight that cast shadows on everything,R1 is solid at 30fps with over twice the stuff on screen,gameplay is great so is its story.R1 has clans more modes bigger maps and more weapons and upgrades for more models and gear so gears online is not better.
