Poll: Have You Ever Imported?

just recently imported my first game, Anbother Century's Episode 2, and its entirely in Japanese so i don't understand a word of it but i'm enjoying the hell out of it. i wish it was in english though. there's been so many great games were never released here, its a shame

No i haven't. Been able to find all the games I want here in good ol US of A.

I have imported more than 20 Japanese games. I don't know if I would call myself an avid importer though.

Yes i don't like playing $100 for a game.

I imported Tales of Eternia and Breath of Fire 3 for the PSP.

The only game I ever imported was the Witcher Euro version way back when the game recently released.

If you talking about importing japanese games than no. I'm not going to play games I don't understand and I'm not EMO.

Well i do somethimes import games from over seas like Japan for example like Gundam Vs Gundam Next Plus PSP game.

I bought 90% of my games from UK, it's almost half price compare to the $110 RRP in Australia.

I import Japanese games quite often. I just bought 8 Japanese PC games the other day (Ys and Legend of Heroes games) and not too long ago I imported The Last Story and Xenoblade.

No. 99% of the time if a game doesn't get released over here, I have no interest in it anyway. A lot of the Japan only games are weird, bad, or a combination of the two. Or they're SHMUPS.DJ_Lae

Yeah, around 5 or 6 games.

I imported the Final Mix editions of both Kingdom Hearts games, along with a JP Region PS2 with which to enjoy them. Costly at the time, but certainly not a waste time or money. I can never go back to the US versions after playing Critical Mode/Level One challenge on KH2.

Well no, because I have to pay 25% import tax here in Norway... :( So not really worth it. Although I'd love to by the US version of MGS4 just for the box art... which it costs $10 which is nothing, if I can get free shipping and I don't have to pay import tax on items under $30... so...

I've wanted to many times, but not know Japanese stands in my way:P

Yeah, I imported Rampage Through Time from Britain as I couldn't find it here in Holland. Game turned out to be crap, though. :P

Yea, I've imported a couple games from America with a much later release date in Europe.

Well there are times where you(me actually) would import a game simply because its not available in the place you live. I bought Blazblue collector's edition because it was sold out where I live, and also persona 3 fes(NA edition) from play-asia because you can't find it anymore.

I have, only two though. SNES version of Street Fighter II, and the MGS Premium package that was only released in Japan. Expensive as hell too.

I imported over 20 Japanese + Asian games for my PS3, PSP, DS and Wii.

I got Mario Tennis 64 & Rayman 2 64 from Canada :P

yes I import. Many of my imports are my favorite games this generation. I imported a japanese 360 since 99% of U.S. 360 games are region free, and probably 3/4 japanese games are region-locked.
