Out of those, I had to go with Ada Wong. Seriously though, you might want to consider adding Isabela Keyes from Dead Rising to that list as well.;)ironcreed

Runner-up is Taki. While Taki does look very hot, she looks too unrealistic too compete with Ada. However, playing as her in Soul Calibur => *boing*; which automatically shoots her up to the runner-up position.

Very good thread AdobeArtist, I'll have to nominate this one as being the best so far this year. It's very well-structured and the pictures are so beautifully crafted. And the list you put up there shows that you know exactly what you're doing.

Wow, ToScA, THANK YOU. I can't express enough my flattery :oops: :oops:

I'm not trying to brag, but I do feel this is my best poll, and yeah, I did take a great deal of time preparing and planning this. This is the culmination of my experience of all my previous polls. Your notice of that is much appreciated. Of course Jandurin is a tremendous help running a contest of this magnitude so it doesn't take close to 4 months. He's making the process a whole lot smoother :)

It's also nice not to have a complainer of the list, lol. I will be the 1st to admit, I can't make a perfect list. 5 options per poll is very limiting, even doing multiple rounds. Cuts are going to have to happen so I do my best within the limitations. But I can say I give fair representaion to all the platforms - Xbox, Sony, Nintendo, PC and was even sure to include Sega. And part of the appeal of this one I'm sure has to do with the candidates coming from various genres too - Action, Adventure, RPG, Fighters and FPS, there's something for everybody here.

I do agree, Ada is highly natural and realistic in her rendering. Lara while having come a long way thanks to improvements in technology, still carries some of the less realistic traits from her early days.... not that that's necessarily a BAD thing, nudge nudge wink wink, know what I mean know what I mean, say no more say n.... oh dang, drifted off again. Oh and I would say Lisa is also very naturalistically rendered too, very easy to see a real person looking like her.

Where did the list of contestants come from? I'm sure you could have found some alternatives instead of padding it with practically the entire DOA roster.Alaris83

DOA series has a predominantly female cast and as most know, is tailored to alot of sex appeal. So there's much of the DOA cast that is worth putting in here. And besides, there's still 42 characters from many other series that makes up a much larger part of this poll.

Believe me when I say I looked around, from all platforms and genres, for female characters to take into consideration. But it's also important to realize the need for an even number, especially as it's split between 2 threads. 50 is the ideal number and maybe I could have dropped 2 or 3 of the DOA roster, but after all those other 42, I couldn't find many others that met the requirements of sexiness this contest is looking for.

And I'll concede there's a couple I may have overlooked, even with my well rounded gaming experience (and I don't claim to be the Encyclopedia Electronica) or just didn't think of at the time I was compiling my list. But again, with a list of 50 I did my best to represent all platforms and most genres - Action, Adventure, RPG, Fighting, and FPS.

With Lara being in this poll, this seems like a good place to share some of my Photoshop stylings. One of the things I love to do is take black and white illustrations and digitally color them. And there's this artist by the name of Deacon Black who does alot of works of well known comic book characters from Marvel and DC, and has also done Jessica Rabbit and of course Lara Croft. He's well known for his sexy illustration style and does these drawings in erotica themes as well. And I just so have a sample of Lara that I colored (not the erotica one that I couldn't post here, lol) and showing the original black and white I painted.

Hey, no need to thank me, just sharing my honest opinion on a well-crafted poll. Such polls are a rarity these days, especially here on SW :)

Just wondering... is that all photoshop or you use a tablet?

Even with a tablet (which I did use) it still IS all Photoshop. A tablet is just a better way of using the various brushes in PS. But essentially it's a unique version of a mouse - you can still click menu selections, drag window sliders, drag color balance sliders, drag and drop, click icons - basically everything you can do with a mouse can be done with the stylus on the tablet (no scroll wheel function though), even in other apps like the web browser, Word, whatever.

The cosplay Cammy pretty much sold the deal for me. >_>foxhound_fox

That Cammy cosplayer is my future wife... she just doesn't know it yet 8)

Lara Croft honestly how the hell is street fighter chracter on theres i mean the game is 2-d theres nothing to see on herStarFoxCOM

2D or 3D, it hardly makes a difference. Both are an artform that portrays a representation of a beautiful woman. Same with hand drawn illustrations, like the Deacon Black Lara seen here. It's a still picture but most would agree it's hot. In fact people have been saying that of illustrations for years before video games.

And even in 2D, you can see plenty depending on how the artist renders the character - remember Cammy's vicory pose in the game? ;)
