Poll - If Monster Hunter 3 came to PS3, would you buy it?

I would buy it in a heartbeat if it came back to playstation. I don't know why they went to Nintendo in the first place anyway. All of the previous monster hunter games have been on Playstation so far besides frontier. Looks like I will be buying a wii later this year because of them :evil:

Im a pretty big fan of the series. Like 1 on the PSP and PS2, loved 2 for the PSP and 2nd G, and loved what Ive played of 3~Tri, so much so that I really wouldnt mind buying it in HD with better online.

Yes I would. I loved the first title on the PS2 and I also enjoyed the PSP titles.

neither option. I AM buying it on the Wii but if it came out for the Ps3 I would buy it for that. It would maybe look better on the ps3? but it's the same gameplay so I can care less which platform it's on, as long as I get to play it!

I'll get it for Wii anyway, but it would've been better on PS3. Shorter loading times, better AI so it's like fighting real monsters, and the slight benefit of better graphics.

Also as big a Wii supporter as I am, it's obvious that it's only on the Wii because they knew they could make a cheaper version and get away with it. It doesn't benefit from the controls, it's just cheaper, hence slightly worse than it could've been.

You Like Kingdom Hearts right? That's far more action then RPG.

On-Topic. I wouldn't want a port. Xbox > PS3 ports are difficult enough, Wii to PS3 port would be a terrible idea, and wouldnt begin to scratch the potential the PS3 has.

Well I think porting good Wii games to PS3/360 and making them use normal controller instead of motion controller like what No more heroes will do is a great idea I personally don't care about graphics at all as long as its above PS2 graphics level then its welcomed.

As long as the game has fully featured online multiplayer on the PS3, or even 360 i'd be more then happy. Nice graphics would just be a bonus.

Heh, can't help but chuckle at the person who thinks MH is an rpg, I suggest you learn what an rpg is first. There are no levels or stats to focus on in the MH series, only weapons and armor. MH is an action game.

Your weapons and armour has tiers(levels) and stats though. You may not be leveling your character in the tradtional way, but you do change your equipment which directly effects your character.

I'm not sure. I don't plan on getting the Wii one, so I probably wouldn't get a PS3 one either. From what I've heard it's like a single player MMO, and if that's true I'd probably rather just go back to WoW.

Although I really should try one just to see what all the fuss is about. The screenshots do get me interested.
