Now that I have $50 down on it, I kinda have to get it day one.
Although because The Old Republic doesn't run on my Computer (no thanks to a teller that said if I could run WoW I could run this game.....) It might be tough for me to gather up the dough.
I'm going to wait and see if Sony drops the price some, and supports it better than they did the PSP. When I had a PSP you could hardly find games for it. It's gotten a little better now, but for the longest time if you could find more than 5 games at most retailers you were pretty lucky.
As much as I would like to, the thing is launching uncomfortably close to mid-semester exams, so I may have to give it a temporary pass.
Kneegrow, please.
The only game I want to play is Gravity Rush. Hopefully, it will get ported to the PS3 in the near future.
I'll buy a Vita when there's a price drop, and when someone gets a Dreamcast emulator running on it. And that won't be anytime soon or possibly never.....
[QUOTE="charizard1605"]I won't be getting it at launch anymore, but I *will* buy it eventually.Eponique:o what happened? I'm definitely not buying one day one, as tempting as Blazblue Portable HD is. I'll wait until December for a price drop and used memory cards. I'm waiting to see if the system is still relevant in a year or so.

I will pick one up once the price of both the Vita and the memory cards have dropped in price.AmazonTreeBoaWhat if the two were bundled together?

What makes you think that psp did pretty well. Cause we can't play a home consoles anywhere and there are plenty of portable games not on home consoleVita has a huge chance of dying at retail and not being supported.
Why would anyone risk $300 on inferior console ports?

"are you buying a system that is going to fail?" thats more like it. ;)polFdrawykSWhat do you mean by fail? Do you mean stop working, discontinued, or not sale as well as the 3DS?
Yes, I already paid off the wi-fi version and now deciding to see what games to pick up. Decisions, decisions. I've played the 3DS and it's a great handheld for what it is, but it just doesn't interest me and the 3D hurts my eyes a little. I'll just stick with the Vita since it has games that appeal to me more.
buying any console day 1 is dumbmems_1224I disagree. Something awesome about part of a community early on with any new release (game or system) because the people that get it are enthusiasts. Sure you might save some money by waiting, but probably not going to save that much money waiting, so you have to decide for yourself if it's worth it.
Not to worry zarshack, Escape Plan is available on launch day as it is available on PSN as a digital download.yep, along with uncharted, gravity rush, and hopefully escape plan will be available on launch day.

you say not ANYMORE. So you once did then, according to your grammar. Well the vita lineup that got everyone excited last summer hasnt lost any games, vita stil has over 100 games in development right now and 150 devs dedicated to vita working on vita projects. None of that has changed, all thats changed is memory card prices hahaNot anymore. Ill wait for more interesting games to get announced.

Perhaps he just doesn't like the looks of the lineup as is, that isn't weird. Just his opinion. Not anymore. Ill wait for more interesting games to get announced.

i did with 3DS and im doing it with vita too. Honestly i hardly think i will regret it either....on launch day alone there are more good games to buy than i have money for. So im settling with Uncharted, Escape Plan, Gravity Rush, and Wipeout. That should hold me off till LBP, Resistance, and hopefully Call fo Duty come later this year. Im not normally a COD gamer but i cant pass up a portable, console like shooter like thatms555Why on earth if you're not normally into console COD games on consoles would a "console" like COD on a portable be any different?
