What do you mean by fail? Do you mean stop working, discontinued, or not sale as well as the 3DS?

What he's getting at is that when the PSV gets outsold like a government mule by the 3DS, that third parties will make much more good games for the 3DS than the PSV, as it would be the best business decision, and eventually third party support will dry up for the PSV if it gets outsold by 20-30-40 million like everyone expects it to be. It's not hard to figure out Go count all the 7+ rated games on Metacritic or Game Rankings for the DS in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and it will easily double, or even triple the amount of 7+ rated games on the PSP in the same years. It just happens when a console outsells another for the most part. The PS2 did it to the Cube/Xbox

you say not ANYMORE. So you once did then, according to your grammar. Well the vita lineup that got everyone excited last summer hasnt lost any games, vita stil has over 100 games in development right now and 150 devs dedicated to vita working on vita projects. None of that has changed, all thats changed is memory card prices haha

Nothing has changed, except my opinion. The systems future isnt looking bright right now. Once more games Im interested in are announced Ill gladly buy one. Gravity Rush and Uncharted are no longer enough.

the 3DS selling better than the Vita doesn't mean it will get all the games. The Wii is living proof to that.

Yes i am getting the 3g/wifi Vita on day one as i aint worried about its future,it is a great machine with a brilliant line up of games unlike any other launch so i know i will be happy just like i was 16 yr ago with my ps1 that i paid £325 pound on launch day. Enjoy what you have as each machine does what you want.

The only reason the Wii didn't work like that was the Wii's install base wasn't bigger than the 360/PS3 base. Don't be coy and ignore that. PS2 User Base during, say 2003: 60-80 million, Xbox/GameCube Combined User Base during 2003: 30 million Now look at the Wii's User Base today, 90 milllion, now the Xbox 360/PS3 combined User Base today: 115 million You can see that it makes more sense as a business to make games for both the Xbox 360 and PS3 because 1. Games can be ported between them with ease 2. They have a bigger customer base than the Wii This will not be true at all for the 3DS/PSV unless Microsoft made a handheld that was similar to the PSV. There is no denying that if the 3DS outsells the Vita by 20, 30, or 40 million units that devs will make a choice between the two platforms. That probably played a factor in Square Enix making Kingdom Hearts and new IPs for the 3DS, and Capcom making Monster Hunter. You can't honestly think that if the PSV has 15 million customers in 2 years, and the 3DS has 40-50 million customers that anyone in their right mind will make a bunch of PSV exclusive stuff that isn't Sony or isn't trying to accomplish something its hardware can only do. Sure, I can see some exclusive Vita games here and there, like Crisis Core and some other PSP games, but it will likely turn out just like how the DS consistently had many more well reviewed games than the PSP unless the Vita can catch up in sales.

Not anymore. I was going to(had a hundred dollars paid towards one) but I've lost faith that Sony will launch the system in a not f***ed up state. And I really don't see the point in getting a system on launch day. It's an expensive investment for something that could be competely jacked. Why not wait a week or so to see what the issues are and then make your decision?

I was going to... saved for it and all... but then it occurred to me that for what I was going to spend on the Vita plus my tax return, I could get a new gaming rig that will run everything (or practically everything) on ultra. So I'm getting a new gaming computer instead, and waiting until the next Vita version comes out.

I dont plan to buy Vita at all for now

Generally i only plan to buy xbox 720 and 3DS

All of PS4, WiiU, Vita are indifferent to me right now, they have no games i want at all

Now that I have $50 down on it, I kinda have to get it day one.
Although because The Old Republic doesn't run on my Computer (no thanks to a teller that said if I could run WoW I could run this game.....) It might be tough for me to gather up the dough.

Try running it in compatibility mode for XP SP3 heard people saying it allows the game to run even on laptops. Yeah i'll likely get it day one i do quite fancy the launch games but they aren't ideal, Ruin would make the launch titles ideal.

Yes i am buying it and i dont care how many people paint a gloomy picture of it. I have seen it and believe me once you see it too, it will change your mind or views..not that some will let on mind.What a range of games for a launch. Sony deserves some loyalty and good news. By the way.. the Vita is doing better than you think so dont be put off, See the machine first i swear if you dont agree with me then just be happy with what you have and let the rest of us enjoy.
