I have all the MGS games, and I agree that the quality ofthe games has been on adecline ever since the first one. Personally, I still want MGS4, because I love the MGS series and MGS4 looks amazing. On the other hand, I can accept the fact that MGS has been going downhill.

If you ask me, I'd buy FinalFantasy XIII before I got MGS4 or GTA4, but that's probably just me.

I think that the GTA games have been going downhill way more than the MGS games. I own all the GTA games also. MGS4 just seems more well developed to me

I got MGS 2 & 3 but its gonna be GTA IV cause.....well.....its GTA IV!

I think that the GTA games have been getting better. Compare GTA3 to San Andreas, and I think it's clear that there has been an increase in quality when it comes to GTA games. Rockstar has increased both content and world size after every GTA game. To each his own, but I personally think GTA games have improved with time, whereas MGS games have been getting worse with every installment.
