I dont believe any human being truly is. Some will argue they can, I dont buy it. Life in general is a subjective experience, and entertainment is very subjective as we are guided by our preferences. No matter how hard a person tries to be objective, their preference is there and it will sway them.

Blows my mind that people actually enjoyed that laughable Sony conference. No Mans Sky looks to be the next Destiny in terms of hype and then eventual let down. Not to mention that Sony had the most cringe worthy presenters up there cracking lame jokes that the crowd didn't even think was funny. Microsoft smoked the show this year by a long shot. Not even close

Since PC wasn't a choice I voted xbox. Actual games that you can play this year and backward compatibility. PS4 only had Horizon. Everything else I don't care for (the last guardian) or I'll be playing on PC whenever it comes out (Shenmue). Sony dropped the ball to me. Also Microsoft had the cooler tech with the hololens.

I didn't hear about it either but I know one thing. These kind of japanese cartoon graphics are for a select audience and I do not belong to that audience.

It all depends what kind of game you prefere of course but xbox had a lot more games and a lot more games releasing this year.

The sony fanboys here are as rabid as ever, How can sony 's conference be better when they have only half the games of microsoft , Sony has three big names at best, ms easiliy doubles it, throws in backwards comp. and holographic tech.

Microsoft wasn't bad, backwards compatable was awesome, mods on console is interesting (we'll see how well it works), and that new controller is badass but pricy, games wise I was kind of disappointed, the robodog game sounds interesting, but otherwise most everything they showed was either known about or not too interesting.

Sony destroyed them with games, Last Guardian, Uncharted, FF7 announcement, World's of Final Fantasy has my attention as well, their biggest failing was ignoring the Vita aside from the fact that Worlds of FF happens to be on it, which the guy and like he almost forgot that it was on Vita, Sony is really trying hard to make me not like my Vita, so far I still really like it though

It's the very first modern AAA franchise ever made. You haven't been following games for a long time.

They were close. Both conferences delivered awesome games, and most of the AAA MS exclusives shown will actually be out this year. I like the BC feature coming to XB1, and it seems developers are getting grips with the hardware. The Last Guardian will be fun, but definitely looks last gen. Uncharted 4 looks cool as hell. Gears 4 looked pretty sick. RotTR looks pretty sick. Halo 5 looked like Halo, meh. Shenmue and FFVII showed nothing of substance, but when they eventually release I'm sure they'll be metacritic darlings. All in all, MS is looking to own 2015 as far as games line ups go, with Sony poised to strike back next year. As far as who won E3? **** it, it's a tie. It's pointless arguing who's show was "da best".

Im choosing Sony, I'd love to say MS because of the 100? titles (at launch) of backwards compatible 360 games, but I'm looking forwards to playing most of those Sony games that were shown. The only MS game I was excited about was Fallout 4 I think and it's not like that's exclusive or anything.

Sony's was good but why should I purchase it when I already have a gaming PC?

Alot of the decent titles that were shown are coming out on PC too including final fantasy, no mans sky & shenmue.

I was impressed by almost all of it, especially Last Guardian, Horizon, FF7 remake, and uncharted 4.

@GameSpot: I'm a huge PlayStation fan but the halo lens and backwards compatibility is a huge, huge announcement. Sony had some great games and DLNA support was a plus but seriously, with the latest technology both platforms should have backwards compatibility. I would love to play on my PS4 online with friends playing the same game on the PS3. Make it happen

Microsoft showed new hardware .A ton of new exclusive releases. Gears 4 & Halo 5 are both brand new flagship exclusives.

All I saw from Sony was a bunch of multiplatform games.

Reallly..... Tomb raider said this on the screen: "exclusive Holiday 2015". All other announced exclusive games stated simply Exclusive to Xbox and/or Windows 10... And no where on the net has any comments about that at all....meaning you are butthurt and making shit up.

In terms of games, I struggled to see any real variety with Sony's announcements. Yes, The Last Guardians will be huge, but along with Horizon(from what we've seen) and Uncharted, they all more or less fall under that action-adventure category. Uncharted could be considered a TPS, but that would be a stretch in my opinion. Like it or not Microsoft's announcements had variety to them, ousting Sony's action-adventure cycle.

In regards to everything else I think Sony struggled again. Talking about the possibilities and innovation that AR/VR can bring is one thing, showing it is something else. You can cry all you want that backwards compatibility isn't relevant to you, but you don't make up the whole of the gaming community. It's just a convenient feature to have and something to add to the XB1's resume. There's literally no harm in them adding it, yet people are somehow trying to turn it around on them. One of the most important things I took away from that, is that they actually listened to the community and made a huge move to make it happen. Being a huge PC gamer, I'm also excited for the Windows 10 streaming and all the other convenient features it may bring.

True, most of x1's games are also on PC.

I guess a PS4 is for the select few japaense games that won't cross over to PC and x1 is for Halo fans. Horizon looks like a heavy weight exclusive tho.

Sony crushed MS with ease. They had the best E3 showing ever.

Horizon and Uncharted 4 made Gears 4 and Tomb Raider look positively last gen....

The Last Guardian, FF7 Remake, and Shembue 3 was Sony already beating a dead horse (M$). So much slaying, poor lems.

Uncharted 4 demo , Horizon reveal/demo , and The Last Guardian re-reveal/demo was enough to beat Recore CG and weak Halo/Gears demos.Just accept defeat and move on to Gamescom , lol.

I got teary eyed watching the last guardian.

The reaction for the Sony's press conference from the video game world is insane. Sony might as well announce Half Life 3 for pc to complete the insanity that's going on right now lol. I can only hope Half Life 3 on the pc conference now.

Yep my twitter, facebook and even Youtube feeds are full of nothing but tears of disbelief and joy about Sony's announcements. They really pulled together the best E3 ever. I'm so glad I'm alive to witness such a legendary E3, we really are living in the age of Sony.

I think a lot of people are confused. FFVII isnt a Sony exclusive...at all.

You must hate the rare collection, BC and the Gears of War remaster. Why play games already released years ago?

They both showed multiplats a lot at times.At least sony's conference this year was significantly better than last year.I thought both conferences were around the same level because the megatons in sony's conference did not impress me that much since they weren't as surprising as I thought they were be.I thought sony's conference was more of a B.Still not interested in a ps4 for like the next two years because the price is still kinda high in Canada and nothing that interesting is releasing for the console this year.

I liked horizon potentially, but it only had one enemy on screen. Sony gave no release dates on their big exclusives and their event fell flat with the disgusting Shenmue act leading into Disney, morpheus, COD, multiplat Battlefield, and a flawed Uncharted "demo". MS showed heavy hitters all releasing this year, backwards compatibility, and mods for fallout 4. We won't even mention how hololens impressed at E3. Sony flopped.

Three big names and two aren't even exclusive but Sony will still win none the less because the gaming media are made up of paid shills and PS fanboys.

I honestly thought MS would win this year. Gears 4/Halo 5 are two of there strongest IP's and being at the same conference I didn't see anyway Sony would top that. MS went on to have a great conference but in all honesty unless you are a RAGING LEM, im not sure how you see MS won. At the end of the day they had a great conference but NOTHING was a surprise. The only thing that wasn't expected was Recore which actually looks like it could be very impressive and backwards compatibility( which is a great step in the right direction!)

However Sony showed The Last Guardian( which people have been waiting for along time to see) They then showed arguably the best new IP in Horizon and then a very impressive UC4 demo. And even though Shenmue 3 and FF7 Remake are not exclusive people have been waiting for those games for over a decade.

People are just getting over halo, gears and forza i think. The cycle is getting pretty yawntastic.
