I have no clue what the console features on the playstation 3 are so I won't vote.Hippostrike
This thread showss the PS3 has the most features. The above post shows why it doesn't matter.;)
Not everyone who buys the PS3 wants it for the br player. So for some people your forced to pay for a feature you will never use.

Owning a Wii makes me a sheep? I better burn my PS2 and 360 then seeing as I obviously don't need to play them anymore. =\Blu Ray, Wifi, and some other stuff I suppose -- The PS3 has the most built in features. Everything except for a decent line up of games =P

What does it have to do with your post? You tried to get slick by saying you use the br player everytime you insert a disk so cool, fair enough. What Im saying is IF I DONT WANT BLU RAY MOVIES OR IM NOT A MOVIE BUFF IM FORCED TO PAY FOR SOMETHING I WONT USE OTHER THAN INSERTING GAMES INTO IT. Did you understand that?
Of course the PS3 does! Far too many for me. I don't like paying an exorbitant amount for features I'm never going to use.SpigleyMcCheese
Exactly my damn point! Why the hell am I gonna pay for a blu ray player i will never use. Just to play PS3 games?
For me that would be the PS3. When my PC died I used Firefox on my PS3 as a temporary solution. I've used it to play blu-ray movies and recently bought 300. The DVD upscaling seems to work pretty well too, DVD's look surprisingly good.
The 360 has a much better online solution though, the Marketplace in particular. And custom soundtracks. I'm almost changing my mind here.

Exactly! It's painfully obvious that the only reason PS3 games are on blu-ray is because Sony wanted to push blu-ray as a next-gen format. I'm not going to be buying either HD-DVDs or blu-ray films any time soon, so essentially I'm paying over £100 for a feature that I don't need. That's my major qualm with buying a PS3.

but bluray is not only used for movies, the extra space is goign to make games more in depth when DVDs become maxed out so your paying th extra money for future experience.

Oh god, I have to spend 30 seconds switching the discs, I guess I should go spend600 dollars to fix this problem.
well if its a selling point and you wont "use" the bluray player then dont buy a ps3....nba532002I dont plan on it sir.
and if your intrested in the games the bluray will improve the quality of games once DVD9 dics becomes maxed out.nba532002There are a few games that look promising on the PS3. But those are to few and far between.
so its not useless.nba532002If I dont watch Blu Ray movies, the games I want I either have on 360/PC or are coming to 360/PC it is useless. One game I was interested in looks like vaporware.
thats like saying you dont want to buy a ps2 becasue it plays dvd movies and you dont want it to play dvd movies. the ps3 plays bluray movies bcasue the format of the games are bluray. nba532002So that justifies jacking the price up $200?
To answer the question properly you'd have to clearly define what counts as a feature, and simply count up those for each console. That would give a non-subjective result. I expect the answer to be PS3 but the wii is also a possibility, since it has alot of minor built-in features. Whichever one has more features, it's not very important. Total number of features, minor and major, has never had any impact on any console war to date.

Exactly my point. I dont plan on buying either as well, BUT M$ gives you that option rather than force it down your throat like Sony...
