With bioshock, mass effect, and Halo 3, that's a pretty tough bet to make. Although, MGS4 looks pretty darn promising, and God of war 2 is a great game.

Critics and fans have reacted extremely positively to the demo version. When the game was first revealed at E3 2006, it was one of the most played and enjoyed games of the show floor. Matt Casamassina, the editor of IGN Wii, loved it so much that he went on to say that game was practically perfect. Matt Wales agreed that it was everything Super Mario Sunshine was not. Giancarlo Varanini, of 1UP.com, wrote that it was the best example of how the controller can be used. Russ Fisher appreciated the game because it was "fresh", and compared it to Metroid Prime, saying Super Mario Galaxy is the new beginning for Mario.

and this is just a demonstrate, only a demo of Mario Galaxy on E3.;)

Halo 3 = been done twice before, unoriginal, might be really good but not GOTY

Crysis = nothing but Farcry with better graphics

I agree. I think SMG will do it though Mass Effect is a good choice too.

Alot of people are sleeping on SMG as far as popularity.

I really think it could be better than any mario game ever. And when Matt Casamassina says what he said about it, (mind you this guy broke the news of Resident Evil 4 on GC) i take it as a great game already.

I mean Super Mario Sunshine got mostly AAAs when it came out and SMG looks to be at least AAA. I want to say it could get AAAA, but I think the next Zelda Wii game has the best chance of that this generation.
