Well for years now Sony fanboys have praised there PS3's hardware and ragged on the 360's red ring of death and other hardware issues, and while true for the most part they are building them a little better these days.
However now just when Sony is getting together a descent library of games, they have chosen to mass produce the worst of the PS3 models, being the 40-gig model PS3 only, and sticking 80-gig and 160-gig hard drives in it, even while there turning out bad batches of both 40 and 80 gig models by the thousands with freezes, power trouble, and disc reading problems.
So once again Sony is in danger of losing more disgruntled PS3 owners to the 360, why were they so intimidated by public opinion when the 60-gig first released with it's so called "high price", i mean that machine had everything, DVD & Blu-Ray player, 100% PS2 backwards compatibility, 4 USB slots, Flash drive slots, SD card slots, and free online play out of the box, all that for a mere $600 bucks i don't know what those Sony boys were whining about thats a damn good deal.
Now look, every time i go to my local game store they have new batches of 5 to 8 PS3's behind the counter going back to Sony for repair or replacement, and even though i prefer my 360 Elite i kind of feel bad for you Sony boy's because your game library was really growing and now, because Sony caved in to pressure and complaints about the 60-gigs price, their best model is no longer made.
That really is a shame.

1. Sure they are building the Xbox 360 better, but what about all the other chips that were claimed to fix the problem, but yet they still RROD.
2. Every Xbox 360 is known to break, even people with launched models will have problems who havent already, I think I even read people say stuff like, oh my launch model Xbox 360 broke, even after them having it for probable more than a year.
3. The PS3 never had 100% backwards compatibility, even go on the offical North America Playstation website and they will give you a search, search for a game and some don't even work right on a 60GB at all. 4 USB ports is unneeded because you can just buy this. Flash drives are uneeded because you can just use a USB drive or USB adaptor for SD cards and possibly even Memory Stick Duos, I'm uncertain about Compact Flash, but you get my drift. You could even get a Western Digital Passport which can be bought in 250GB, 320GB, 400GB, all the way up to 500GB which will have more space than every storange device/slot you claimed was needed for the PS3
You still get free online play right out of the box, actually read whats on the front of the new 80GB PS3 box before spreading false claims because the new 80GB clearly says just like on the offical website with information on the new 80GB, that you get a free Playstation Network online membership. I get all that for just $399.99 because I bought mine off Amazon with super free shipping while you had to pay $599.99 plus tax because you bought it at the store and bought one to early. I get all what you paid for less along with cheaper alternates for whats missing like two USB ports gone etc I can just buy this.
Also, the 60GB is the worst one, pretty much every one who got the YLOD, has/owns a 60GB, which is why they are that unneed to begin with, Backward compatibility is pointless for me since its region locked any way and most of the game I wanted were only availble in Japan so I have to create a Japanese Playstation Network account just to get all the Japanese PS1 games I missed out on and soon to come PS2 games off the Japanese Playstation Store, so as you can see I never cared about backward compatibility since I couldn't play any of the games I wanted any way and the games I want now will adventaully be out of stock, so I rather have them downloadable any way, than rely on backward compatibility.
